Here is my attempt at making a realistic impulse style set. I would love for a set like this to come out. I tried to make something useful on its own and that had useful MOCing parts if taken apart. Comments and critiques welcome:

Training Pell, knight and armor/weapon stand:

Looks great, probably one or two pieces more than the average impulse set, but not far off. I certainly would buy it for the parts alone :thumbup:

Indeed, you'd probably have to lose the crossbow and make the 'armor stand' with less pieces. But other than that: an excellent idea for an impulse set that could instantly be released by TLG. Well done.

Thanks for the comments everyone. To lower the piece count, I could replace the armor/weapon rack with a barrel or small crate to put weapons in and the soldier could just wear the armor.
