IMPORTANT To all contestants:

1) If you are entering the LDD Only class you MUST also link to the LXF-file, or you will be disqualified.

Class: LDD only

This is an entry for the town section of the contest, and it popped into my head pretty much fully formed as I was browsing through the trains forum. I may actually end up buying the pieces to assemble this, as it is my first towns building on record. The pics will probably take a little bit to go public from brickshelf. some play features I put in just for fun are that the roof is removable to give access inside, and the tunnel can be positioned to either the rear, or the two side doors. Also some tables and the like are inside for the use of the customers, though only one is shown actually IN the building

The 2nd floor is a Loft Apartment.

I had tried to resize my picture to (404 pixcels, 268 pixels). Why my sire is still too big 63.9 KB That make me can not post at least 3 picture. Do you have any ideas. I am not good at computer :((

This is my entry into the LDD + Real Bricks Class of this contest.

Using LDD especially helped me in the SNOT on the side of the garbage truck and "Diner" sign, as well as allowed me to try different roofs quickly.

Please read the rules of the contest. There you will find how to deeplink images (i.e. you do not attach image to Eurobrick forum, but instead upload to Brikshelf, and then link from there. But, please note, you do not have to upload three images of your MOC. The maximum is 3 images.

LDD + Real Bricks Class

This moc is made after inspiration from creations on brickshelf. Dont know if this can participate, but I'll give it a shot

This is my entry for the category: LDD+Real Bricks

It is a fully modular Bank. I always was disappointed that Lego never made a decent bank so I created my own by using the LDD.

It has 3 fully furnished floors. The Ground floor or "Basement" contains the huge vault and some safe deposit boxes.

The first floor serves as costumer service area. The second floor contains an office and a small waiting area.

This is a harbor made up of modular sections that can be connected and rearranges in any order. The style is loosely based upon Norwegian architecture.

It took a little while, but here it is, my first presentation of a model on Eurobricks.

Although it's only digital bricks, I still hope you like it.

Introduction

A while back when cafe corner was presented I fell in love immediatly with this scale of buildings. Really something inbetween the legoland buildings and the city buildingscale. The holes and pins on the sides of the building kept a promise that was soon forfilled. Marketplace was there, a magnificent set of modular elements that, other than cafe corner, could be freely rearranged and rotated. The trend was set, at least, I thought so. Then came the green grocer, the fire brigade, and the grand emporium, and all the flexibility that I liked so much about Marketplace, was left behind and brought back to the holes and pins on the sides. (not that I don't like the buildings)

Time for modular madness...........

Apartments

Where do all these city inhabitants sleep that get there vegetables at the green grocer, get there fresh croissants at the marketplace and buy dresses in the grand emporium. Well, here is the solution. Inbetween the grand emporium and the green grocer a piece of land was redeveloped, the old buildings just weren't good enough to renovate so they developed some modern apartments in place.

I proudly present to you, 2500 bricks of modularity.

The set comes in 18 numbered bags containing one module each.

roof 2x (one with solar panels)

The building is made in white stucco with wood as finishing on the balconies, acces galleries and roof garden. The staircase is separated from the apartments to gain flexibility. In combination with the acces galeries at the back of the building a lot of configuarations are possible without losing realistic connections to all apartments. The apartements and groundfloor office/retailspace can be mirrored, so that they can be connected internaly by removing the glass plates, or have glass on the outside so you can put the building on a corner as well.

To give even more flexibility to the building every floor is provided with holes and pins, so you can easily make a heightdifference in your layout of place the building as a gate over the road.

To finish my story I have made some screenshots of the apartment building in it's natural habitat.

Before this contest had started, when I found out about Universe mode, in LDD, I decided to use it to build a design for a model which I hope to build and add to my town sometime soon. I found that my creation also met the requirements for this contest, so I decided to enter it. Presenting... The Lego Mall!

This is a shot of the front of the mall. Many malls in my area have outdoor mall sections, for the front I tried to imitate that look. The tan parts of the building represent the indoor mall entrance and sidewalls.

From this view you can see the back portion of the mall (the indoor mall portion) for this picture I will focus on the upper floor. This floor includes five stores including a jewlery shop, toy shop, cafe, kitchen supply shop, and a skateboarding shop. This is also a good view of the food court on the lower level.

This picture shows the bottom floor, which includes a food court, outdoor supply shop, clothes shop, and a candy store, along with a spiral staircase.

I have micro greengrocer in LDD too, but don't have time to build it.
