prateek Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Aren't there supposed to be a couple of dark silver spheres as ammo for the catapult? The sphere piece in question can be found under the Technic bullet, listed as "ball [diameter symbol]16,5". The diameter symbol is a circle with a diagonal line through it. I put those behind the castle, right behind where they are supposed to be. If you look in the instructions, they are stored in the castle Quote
Superkalle Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 For some reason, the arch piece on the front of the ship doesn't fit. I suspect there's some sort of collision with the front of the ship and the arch. Well spotted, it has been reported to TLG Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 I just realised that my previous two just posted have already been made, but filled under 'town', not 'Pirate'. Sorry everyone! Quote
ashir Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 (edited) Set: 6266 - Cannon Cove Theme: Pirate Side: Imperial Guards All the pieces needed for the model are present in LDD, but I remove the 2 "Bearing element 2x2, Double" (Plate 2x2 with wheels holder) and the 4 "Rim narrow with hole 08" (Wheel centre small), in order to put the cannon inside the cove. UPDATE: Thanks to Calabar the cannon fully armed is inside the cove... Also, I forgot to mention that in the original set there is a 8x24 green plate that is absent in LDD, so I use 3 8x8 plates. The set included a black string, one side tied to the boat and one side tied to the "Lamp Holder" (Plate 1 x 1 with Clip Light - Type 2). Both are present in LDD, but LDD can't tie them, so I remove the string and left the holder in the boat. Also, the soldier had a brown backpack on top of the Blue "Epaulets". LDD only support one accesorie beside the head, so the backpack was kept and the blue Epaulets removed. Lastly, in the original design, the "Stick/Aerial" (Antenna 4H) is supposed to be inserted in the "Technic Stick" (Bar 7.6L with Stop) and the Imperial flag put aside, but LDD cannot insert a Stick inside a Technic Stick, so the Stick and the flag where put in the rock. UPDATE: Again, thanks to Calabar the Stick is on top the Thecnic Stick, not inserted but on top... Download LXF Edited June 9, 2011 by ashir Quote
Calabar Posted July 28, 2010 Author Posted July 28, 2010 (edited) I just realised that my previous two just posted have already been made, but filled under 'town', not 'Pirate'. Sorry everyone! Oh porc... Remember to report index errors directly to me, please! Or highlight it in any way. I could not notice it if simply reported in a sentence inside a post! However I recommend to use browser's search in the page to verify if a set has been already made. So if the set's number is already indexed, you can find it immediately everywhere it is. @ashir Usually we prefer to put pieces that we can't insert inside the build aside, and don't remove it from the set. However, the choice is your. I tried to fixed your creation, look at it and, if you want, upgrade your file (my file will be automatically removed in few days). EDIT: re-uploaded the file in its correct version. Edited July 29, 2010 by Calabar Quote
ashir Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 (edited) That was amazing Calabar! How do you put the fully armed cannon inside the cove, and how you put the stick a top of the thecnic stick? I reuploaded the LXF... Set: 6234 - Renegade's Raft Theme: Pirate Side: Pirates Fully unmodified set. Download LXF Edited June 9, 2011 by ashir Quote

prateek Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 6388 Holiday Home with Caravan LXF File I just changed the hinged pieces to the new clicky hinge versions. Quote
messiah1 Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 (edited) Updated to LDD 4 6208 - B-wing Fighter - Theme: Star Wars A pretty easy build overall. The only thing that I couldn't get to work was the 90 degree angle of the hinges for the maintenance stand where the catwalk folds down and meets with each other. They would not go to the full 90. I've left the yellow part of the hinges out (off to the side) of the model. Download the .LXF Edited December 9, 2010 by messiah1 Quote
Calabar Posted July 29, 2010 Author Posted July 29, 2010 (edited) 6208 B-wing Fighter It seems one minifig missing. (6208 on Brickset) Am I right? @ashir "If Mohammad can't go to the mountain, let the mountain come to Mohammad" About the cannon: I placed some plates in the right position so that I could hook the baseplate on the bottom of these plates at the right height related to the cannon. Then I removed additional plates. In short, I moved the whole set to be in the right place related to the cannon, using a little plate as an hook. (I hope I'm clear...) About the flag, I put a cylindrical 1x1 brick (with hole) over the technic stick, then I used the brick to place the flag. Finally, I removed the brick. It is impossible to insert the flag inside the technic pin because the pin is too tight. Edited July 29, 2010 by Calabar Quote

Professor Flitwick Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 (edited) The largest set I've done so far, 6097 - Night Lord's Castle And you can download it onto LDD here. Notes: I've had to move a few parts around for it to fit nicely. EDIT: I also had to make a small work around for those rotating portrait pieces. It doesn't turn, but it looks exactly the same. ashir Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 Hey Calabar, are you building the index or you abandon? BTW, the 6232 in the index is incomplete... Quote
Calabar Posted July 30, 2010 Author Posted July 30, 2010 @ashir Usually I update the index in few days. Under the index, in the same post, you can find all data related to the last update. So you can check by your own if other models has been added after the last update (usually non more than one or two pages to check). PS: can't find 6232 in the index. What's the problem exactly?
