Honeybee Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Hi, its been a long time since I posted anything on here, as I have had no time to build any mocs . I had some free time this last week and was inspired by the film First Knight, and so decided to build this scene of the king being set alight to drift off into the afterlife. Hope you like it, and sorry about some of the poor pics There are a few more pictures on my flickr site: http://www.flickr.com/photos/43536154@N03/ Quote
Captain Becker Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 What a beatiful and sad MOC,rock effect is very nice and the boat technique is very clever. IOver all you made an excellent MOC, good job Captain Becker Quote
mikey Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 This is a great idea for a MOC, the boat has been built perfectly, and is set into a really nice landscaped scene. Excellent creation ! What are the trans green pieces representing the sea weed on the beach? Quote
Big Cam Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 That is amazing!! Really, the scene kinda reminds me of a Lord of the Rings type Scene. The boat is unlike any boat I've ever seen and I hang out with the Pirates crew. I like it alot. Someone needs to start a history lego blog for cool designs like this. Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 That is a great, yet a sad, scene you've made! I love it. The landscaping is really well done, as well for the boat, looks great! You also have a great castle minifig collection. Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 It's indeed a lovely and peaceful MOC. The boat looks great, and I like the water and your army Quote

XimenaPaulina Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 This is simply an amazing creation! Great concept, even better execution - I just love the landscape with all the greeneries and the beach below. And I agree the brickbuilt boat is truly unique and well-done. Certainly most impressive work Madam, you've more than made up for your absence with this wonderful MOC. Quote

Enjoy That explains why I found a few similarities to Luke's work Great job once again. Quote
Honeybee Posted October 28, 2010 Author Posted October 28, 2010 Customizing. Exactly if you have alot of one lego piece in your collection then you can afford to customise it to use again at a later date Quote
Emperor Claudius Rome Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Ah, a Viking funeral minus Vikings. You think you could make another version of this with Vikings? But, the MoC is grrrreat! Quote
