Aanchir Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Since the release of 4.0, I've been able to complete another Agents set to my satisfaction. Here's 8633 Speedboat Rescue from the Agents theme! It's in two parts. LXF File for Part One LXF File for Part Two Errors: In Part One, Agent Trace should be holding onto the handlebars attached to that chain. I'd be glad if anyone's willing to help with that, but good luck. It's hard enough dealing with handlebars when they're in front of a fig; having a fig hold onto handlebars behind their back is chaos. In Part Two, the net is supposed to be folded, rolled, and stashed in the net launcher. This is not possible in LDD. The net has been left to the side Likewise, the string is supposed to be tied between the boat and the flick-fire harpoon, then rolled into the ship. This, too, is impossible with LDD. The string has been left to the side. Any parts with prints that are unavailable on LDD have been left blank. I've been hard at work updating my previous sets-- so far I've updated 8969, 8634, 8967, 8630, 6048, 6036, 2586, 6093, 20003, 20008, 20017, and 4993. There are several left to do-- some will take a long time like the Shuttle Adventure and Castle Giant Chess Set-- but rest assured I'm hard at work on many of these remaining sets! Quote

ADHO15 Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 (edited) Here's a lovely set that I thought I'd make as a change from Star Wars: 7573 Battle Of Alamut. LXF File As mentioned in the errors topic, the new flame part doesn't fit in the telescope part. Correct prints are replaced/missing @KDM: It's LXF file, not xlf. Good start. Just stay away from SW! prateek Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 (edited) Updated to LDD 4 Made by someone else before, but I updated it in LDD 4.0 8097 Slave 1 LXF File No ARC accessories. Edited October 31, 2010 by prateek Quote
ADHO15 Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 No ARC accessories and Carbonite Block. The new carbonite block is in the minifig accessories section towards the end. You also have to say when the set has been made someone else already. Quote

Hand-blade accessory is missing from LDD Pearl/Warm and Metallic Gold have been replaced by Reddish Gold. Correct prints are replaced/missing Updated to LDD 4 @KDM: It's LXF file, not xlf. Good start. Just stay away from SW! Warm Gold can actually be obtained by clicking View>New Themes>DesignByMe at the top of the screen. This gives you the DesignByMe palette, which contains some Warm Gold parts-- I tend to use the goblet in the Minifig Accessories category. Place a warm gold part, then just click View>New Themes>LEGO Universe, and you'll be able to use the eyedropper tool to get the color you want. Metallic Gold is a harder color to get, since I don't know its official name or color code. But I tend to use 147 Sand Yellow Metallic, which is the closest match in available colors. It appears if you hover the cursor over Reddish Gold. Also, the hand-blade is on there. It's part 88812. I'll admit, it took me a while to find it (it's hard to identify by its thumbnail) and I only knew to look for it because I had seen it when I first went through to see how many new parts were in 4.0. Aanchir, do you have a list of more colors where you don't know the official name and color, and I can try to do some investigations. It would also be good with some (fairly recent) example sets and parts where that color is used. BTW: I'm now proclamining you our LDD Master of LEGO Colors Alrighty then. I made the changes Note the picture is the same though, as I'm too lazy I think he meant - who did the original set that you modded into LDD4 version? Quote

Thanks for the help, Colour Master. I wasn't aware Warm Gold could still be obtained that way. I'm updating that in my recent sets now. I used the Metallic Sand Yellow for Metallic Gold. Maybe it would be good for everyone to use the same substitute colour for missing colours. I use Silver for Metallic Light Grey and Chrome Silver. I don't know how I missed it. It'll be fixed on the updated version soon. I think he meant - who did the original set that you modded into LDD4 version? Actually, I meant prateek noting that both you and I made that set before he did, as per Calabar's new rule. I do plan to update my own version to LDD4 along with all my other sets. Here's a set that LDD 4 recently allowed me to proceed with: 8708 Cave Crusher from the Power Miners theme. LXF File Errors: Part 85049 (the Rock Monster's body) cannot be colored separate colors. Its legs and teeth should be colored 41 Trans. Red. The whole body has been left 199 Dark Stone Grey. I was not able to mount the bright orange saw blade in its launcher to my satisfaction. It has been left to the side. Edited April 24, 2011 by Aanchir Quote
