Pate-keetongu Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 A dwarven village with The Golden Pork inn, tradional dwarven sauna and a market: Close up of the sauna, notice the misprint beard with reddish brown blending: The market where all sorts of strangers meet: Gallery of the inn (older version with baseplate instead of module) This is my biggest MOC so far and I made it for Finnish LUG Palikkatakomo's Moducity project for expos and such. Comments&critism welcome. Quote
gotoAndLego Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 This looks great. My only criticism is leading edge of the water. It would look a lot more polished if you cleaned that up. Maybe flip it so the studs are facing the direction of the camera and top them with tiles. Quote
buddy Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Great MOC, 'pig'! I particularly like the little sauna and the area at the front of it. I also like the overall look of it, all the different parts of it fit together nicely. Well done. ~buddy~ Quote
Captain Becker Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 (edited) Perfect scene pig! I like the sauna very much, i guess nobody hasnt make that before so you have the honor to be first I guess i dont have any critism about this MOC. Great job! Darth Yogi Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Nice job, the chapel looks great. You have quite a few dwarfs there. Good job Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Truly a great-looking MOC pig! I see a lot of small details that I really like about this creation - the SNOT build of the water, the discoloration of some of the blue bricks actually give a nice variation of blue hues for the water, and the white chimney smoke. Very good job! Quote
BrickArtist Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Nice MOC, I quiet like the buildings. Great Job! Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 I like the tan roof on the building, as well as the 2 black 'cannonballs' at the top. The sauna is nice as well and I like all the different goods being sold at the market. There's always so much to see in large vigs like this, which is really nice. Good job Quote
Mrlegoninja Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Very cool MOC. I like the town gate, the way it looks. Quote
Zepher Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Very nicely done. I love the fish net for fish to be hung on, it would make a cool loom too. I would suggest more rocks and fauna, especially around the edges of the scene, and some more layering and different coloring in the ground. But those are minor nit-picks, it's over-all very nice! Big Cam Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 This looks great. My only criticism is leading edge of the water. It would look a lot more polished if you cleaned that up. Maybe flip it so the studs are facing the direction of the camera and top them with tiles. I agree, its a really good MOC, just the edging and visible multicolored bricks at the base. Also clearer pictures would be great. Sorry for the critisism, its really a great MOC still. Very traditional town squarish. Quote
