I think that that puts them right out of impulse buy range and higher than competing 'game' systems such as bakugan or beyblade.

I'd say that was a bad move but someone might pull up this post to mock me when they become the biggest sellers for 2011.

Upon checking the hi-res pic of the Spinjitzu Dojo set I found that the ninja master sports a shiny new beard piece, clearly visible behind his staff. It appears sleeker and less bushy than the classic majisto-beard. It actually curves a bit to the left so a bit more of the torso can be seen. Essentially it could have "If found, please return to Saruman. Orthanc, Middle-Earth" plastered all over it. Good thing!

I'm guessing that here it would be around $15, which is fairly expensive for one minifig with extra stuff. However, it would be cheaper if you're planning to make a ninja army like I am.

I just noticed something, the katana in some sets are of the old kind with the octagonal guard thing. Originally I thought it was reflections playing tricks on me, but with higher resolution pictures you can clearly see that some of them are the old kind. Piece inconsistencies! That's not very good. I hope they use the new mould when it actually comes out, because it's likely a small oversight that they didn't notice or were using as a placeholder.

I just realized that's a new beard! Also the dojo seems to be an obstacle course!You run down the bench on the left, dodge the axes, step up the bamboo, grab the chain and swing over the spikes, grab the golden star, swing over the "lava" and then dodge the swords on the right to complete the task. Pretty wicked

I think the Spider you guys are talking about is Garmadons chair, also on Brickipedia it has a link to a store called Kiddiwinks thats were I saw the "Lightening Dragon Battle"set name it said it would be out some time in August.P.S. you can see some larger pictures of the sets on Brickshelf in the recently added pictures.

There's various parts of this theme I like but not enough for me to buy whole sets. The gold parts, decorated wall/window panels and those lovely bones. I'll have those please. That Ninja master with his swishy beard and spiffy hat is a must have figure. As is Nya.

No, look at the front of the fortress. There's a large skull with six horns coming out of it, but if you flip it so the black piece at the front is pointing forward it becomes a spider (or insect, anyway).

Hmm, I didn't notice that. The katanas look a bit strange, though, so I'll remove them and use them for figs. There appears to be a function near the door, too. A collapsing walkway maybe? Either way, it's a shame that there's nothing beyond those doors. I'll wait for the next wave, assuming there is one, and hopefully we may get an interior set to combine with this one.

I just noticed that on the Zane DX torso there is a dragon head that looks just like the ìce dragons head, and on the Cole DX torso there is a dragon head that looks different then the head on Zane's torso. So, I was wondering is that going to be the earth dragon's head?

Found something really cool tonight when I went to buy myself a full set of series 3 minifigs

TRU's in the US have a little Ninjago promo event on December 11th.

Which incidentally also means that Ninjago will probably be in store by then (unless they only have one demonstration copy of the Starter Kit, but come on. the point of the event is "try it, buy it")

That what I though when I saw it, If it is I will be so happy . But if it isnt then it should be. It would be interesting if they all had dragons.

Well, the Ice Dragon is coming out soon, and from what we know the Earth Dragon and the Lightning Dragon will be coming out around the middle of 2011. So... I think that the Fire Dragon will probably be coming out around late 2011 - early 2012.

Also... I think the next wave of spinners will probably include Kai DX and Jay DX.
