That's "only" 11 minifigs. But I think the set is projected at $150, so that isn't too far from the realm of possibility. I guess we'll just have to wait for the pictures.

Well a BP is around $3 per minifig with a bad vehicle, so let's say $6-10 per minifig with a good vehicle. 150/6 and 150/10 gets you between 25 and 15 minifigs, so 11 isn't a far cry. Besides, there were a dozen minifigs in Battle of Endor, which was $100.

To that list, though, I think you would have to add Lando under ESB as well, since he wore the Cloud City uniform there and the general's uniform in RotJ.

Shmi would be great, she was missing from both original podrace sets. And of course, we need a new Padme.

Hopefully, it's a modified Consular-class frigate. I'm just hoping that they don't just make a white version of 7665. That fat middle section was all right the first time, but a second rendition should definitely address that.

Theres a ton of figs that are probable for that set, young Jabba, Qui-Gon, Padme, Anakins mom (forget her name), Plain old spectators, tusken raiders, r2-d2, c-3po, the list goes on. I hope we get one of those little viewing panels they use to watch the race , printed as well

From Brickdoctor's reasoning I suppose 11 minifigures would be about right, but taking set quality into account, I don't really think LEGO could include more than 8 and still do a decent job at that price level. Remember, $150 doesn't mean the same 4504 Falcon with more minifigures... or at least I hope it doesn't.

Yeah, me too. I'm not too much into CW sets unless they are really great - a Pelta would be a pass for me, but I love the design of the Consular.

I think even the many Jedi Starfighters got slightly changed from version to version (Ahsoka's and Windu's have flick-fire missiles, Plo Koon's had the ejector seat, Anakin's has neither).

I think the x-wing we have now is unchanged from the previous one with yodas hut, ism't it? The upcoming new BARC is the same as the one in the battle for geonosias with some color changes.

The re-release of the minifig scale TIE Fighter came awfully close. Set numbers escape me right now.

Anakin's had an R2-D2 ejection function. Which was pretty worthless.

I'd expect an ESB Lando to be part of a Cloud City set, but I suppose he does belong in a superset like this. Might as well add a Bespin Leia to the list, too, since she was also there during the escape from Cloud City.

About the Battle of Endor. Yes we did get 12 minifigs in that set, but would the remainder of the $150 price tag be enough to get a decent Falcon? MAybe, maybe not. I'd much rather have a good interior than a ton of minifigs. But given my choice, I'd REALLY like both.

Well let's see...

The 7263 TIE fighter is VERY close to the one in 10131 as well as the original 7146.

The speeder bike in 4482 AT-TE is VERY similar to the one in 4483 AT-AT.

The last few T-47s we've had (8089, 7666, 4500) are pretty close.

The Lambda shuttle in 7264 Imperial inspection is identical to the one in 7166.

THE 6212 X-WING IS ALMOST EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE 4502 X-WING.

LEGO's reused the recent BARC speeder design as well as the STAP design.

Anakin's pod was released twice in 7131 and 7171. They are identical.

That's all I can think of right now.

I know Anakin's Delta-7B was one of the first to include the 'better' flick-fire missiles - it was a highlighted feature in one of the reviews here. Now what's this about the 8093 having an ejector seat?

LEGO wouldn't release a Nebulon-B (since the Redemption was a medical frigate), so I see no reason why they would release a Pelta other than to shower us with new minifigures. On the other hand, the Radiant VII played the role of a Jedi shuttle in Episode I, so both minifigure collectors and starship enthusiasts (such as myself) would win.

Only color changes. The sensor nose is white instead of grey, all the greys are changed to bley. The Dagobah one also had the optional weeds and the Hoth one had alternative stripes, but both could easily be converted back to a standard Red 5.

I'd have to be the other way around; I definitely want both, but seeing as I have yet to keep a set together for longer than a couple months, I'd go for the minifigs if I had to pick one or the other. I'm not really that big of a minifig collector, but seeing as getting a MF will just make me want to build by own from scratch, I'd sacrifice a design I'd scrap ir change anyways for a few rare or unprecedented minifigures. I guess that's entirely dependent on how much modding and MOCing you do.

Ki-Adi Mundi can only be done with a new head mould, I think. Nothing else will look or feel right. The elongated head that we've seen in custom minifigs and even in Lego Star Wars videogames indicate that he's probably been overdue for a long time. I don't like Darth Maul's standard head (or Sugi's) but I think that may be the only option. Recently, however, there seem to be many head "accessories" (which are actually meant to be part of the head), so it could be possible that Maul has a normal (hornless) head and additional horns if you don't want the hood to be on. Unfortunately, it's probably too late for something like this to apply to Sugi as I don't like printed horns that much.

Maybe the new head could just mean new printing? It would be nice if Maul's ship (assuming it exists) includes Qui-Gon and Anakin (maybe also Obi-Wan if he was in that scene). I don't own any of those, and they're a good way to add more playability to the set.

I thought about having the horns as a separate piece to go on the head. but it would have to line absolutley perfect to the head. Just a new printing would be fine by me. Whne I hear darth maul I think of the face and hood not little teeny horns.

hmm that little technic gear on front and clear box in the middle. Hopefully that will allow it to turn.

I'm still confused about what makes that one droid on the cannon different from the other.

Unless I missed something before, this is the first time I've noticed that the Droid turret thing has one of those firing rockets in it. It's integrated very nicely though.

This set seems very similar in style to the Seperatist Spider Droid in that it has an exclusive fig, a bunch of crappy Droids and a big grey walker. At least this time the walker actually looks nice, and there's a BARC as well. Overall, not a bad set, though it still might be more economical to just BL Luminara and Rex, now that his price will likely come down.
