CopMike Posted March 9, 2011 Author Posted March 9, 2011 Just a quick question are we allowed to use stickers (I was planning on using some stickers from a Lego set, is that okay) Anything against it in the rules? No, so off course you can ! Possibly a stupid clarification but figured I'd ask... Per the title, is this an actual raffle like the recent Series 4 one (you enter anything that fits the guidelines and winners are drawn randomly), or a competition (mentioned later in the original post) where the entry is actually judged against others? In other words, how're the winners picked? Are you guys really trying NOT to read my post and trying to guess everything !!! They will be raffled out between all of you that have entered the competition using the rules above. So everybody has an equal chance regardless of "quality" - so don´t miss this opportunity to get figs from a $120 set for free shipped to you ! Quote
MetroiD Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 I can't participate to the event, but couldn't resist to finally build something and post it on a community forum. Hehe, For once I'm able to create something.^^ I absolutely know what you mean! As to being able to participate - as I said, I'm sure our CopMike will know best how to proceed P.S.: Decale - you're a very evil man for doing this to poor ol' Ms. Puff! Quote

Lorentzen Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Hmm - this is a build I might actually be able to pull off I'll enter for sure. Thanks for creating this excellent raffle Quote
IAmWillGibson Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 I'm sure this'll seem distressingly weak compared to some of the rad stuff I'll see over the next few days, but I can't say no to a raffle. Here's the Spookytown Shipping refrigerated container. The masonry and iron bars make the cooling system less than efficient, but nothing really needs to stay that fresh. Also, boo! I'm a sucker for play features. [sorry for the abysmal video quality.] Quote
Morgan19 Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 (edited) Are you guys really trying NOT to read my post and trying to guess everything !!! Geez, sorry. I actually did read your original post several times and somehow missed that last bit. It was an honest oversight, no need to go ballistic... I guess I was expecting all the information to be concisely bulleted, not shoved down to the bottom of the post under a giant image– it was apparently easy to miss for me. Thanks for the clarification, anyway. m19 Edited March 9, 2011 by Morgan19 Quote
The Yellow Brick Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Okay, here is my entry. A small container which is used to transport Lego. It's red and yellow colour scheme fit perfectly with the lego logo. I used the stickers from the 7939 cargo train which were already being used on a container. Good luck to everybody who enters Quote
Decale Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Also, boo! I'm a sucker for play features. [sorry for the abysmal video quality.] Héhé I love it IamWillGibson, really smart Quote
lightningtiger Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 I'm going to have a crack at this, posting my creation within 24 hours or sooner....I'm already drawing up plans and working on the colours and accessories to be used. Good luck to all ! Quote
AllanSmith Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 I have a limited supply of LEGO in my bedsit apartment which is about the size of a shipping container. So made this Container for Naughty Toys. Quote

EverettYA Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 At first it looks like a regular Lego shipping container. But its contents are not Lego. Thanks CopMike for this raffle. EverettYA Quote
Oky Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Ooh, what a neat raffle! Thanks CopMike! Count me in (Can anyone guess what mine will look like? ).I have some questions though. Is any overhang allowed? And can we build anything on top of the container, like for example greebles? I read the rules, but sometimes overhang isn't included in the size limit of a contest, so I thought I'd make sure. I can't wait for April 1st Why? Are you so eager to get pranked? Quote
iamded Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Wow, another raffle already! This is certainly very generous of Eurobricks and CopMike! Kudos! Quote

JCC1004 Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Cargo Container of Imperial Bucket Head Killers You can board our ship, attack our arctic base, and try to foil our attack on your bunker in the forest... but in the end we win. Since that angle doesn't show dimensions that well here is different angle which allows the dimensions to be seen. Right here. Quote
