CabooseBM Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Furno 3.0's bows are in there! But split in half for each hand... Those pieces were available with a lot of the villain sets this wave. Quote

Actually I think you can only buy the customized sets in 27 countries. It says somewhere on the site. EDIT: ok, here it is, 23: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France(Metropolitan/French territory located in Europe), Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, United States. Too bad that the shipping + some other additional fees cost much more than the set itself. (for me) I'll consider buying one should they add the summer pieces later, though...(gold pieces make me happy) One day I'll have my Hero Factory version of Takanuva. :P Quote

Though your right, as tempting as it is to buy it now, the best thing to do is to wait for the summer line as well, think of the possibilities . Edited April 6, 2011 by Nike2032 Quote

vexorian Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 (edited) Yay for yet another feature that I cannot use. At least HF won't have polybag sets. Edit: I wonder how successful recon team is goign to be. Unlike design by me this seems more targeted towards younger audiences. I guess that if it succeeds it will probably be a sort of milestone, we will begin to see recon team like features in other themes over time. Edited April 6, 2011 by vexorian Quote

Here you go, Takanuva 2.0, from your concept ! I wanted to replicate the original staff, but i couldn't find the blade. So here you go, some sort of hybrid between the 2003 set and the Stars staffs. TheDesuComplex Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Is it just me, or is the My heroes tab not working? Yeah, I'm having problems too. Well, other than the missing 'My Heroes' page, I'm loving this. I can't wait until the Gold and Silver 3.0 parts are added! (I'm thinking that it'll be October, to coincide with the LDD Updates) Quote

I think we can count on that release date to be fairly awkward, although as with all sets they're bound to start making their first appearances in stores a month or so before the stated release date. Yes; they'll appear in the US early June like last year, despite the official release being two months later. Which is lucky because I'm taking a trip to America (specifically New York City) around that time. :D Edited April 8, 2011 by Omicron Squad Leader Quote
ZORK64 Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 The first wave of Hero Factory also reached Germany in July, although the catalogue stated September as the release. Oh, and the 2.0 Heroes already hit the German shelves in mid-December. Quote

Lordofdragonss Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 If this was a real set I would buy it! I love playing with Hero factory creator. It's very basic, but I hope they will add more things in the future. here is one of mine heroes: Simon ShockShadow Quote

That's what LDD is for: people who want more complex builds or more advanced designs. Besides, the design process has to be simple if certain promised features-- like playing as your hero in Mission: Ordeal of Fire-- are going to be possible. By keeping the options pretty consistent between heroes, the animation and rendering process is much simpler. In any event, it's far more advanced than the Hero Creator for Mission: Von Nebula, which just applied arbitrary color filters to grayscale hero parts. EDIT: Now here's a more serious problem I just observed. Have you noticed that none of the Hero names in Hero Recon Team are female? None are even non-gender-specific! That's very disappointing for me. Perhaps the Hero Recon Team practices gender discrimination in accepting new members? Edited April 8, 2011 by Aanchir Quote

I wish this thing would let us use our own names instead of default ones. Edited April 9, 2011 by Phantoka Kopaka Nuva Quote

Aanchir Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 I was inspired by a comment Front made in the LDD subforum to build this dodecahedron on LDD: (Image links to LXF file download) Made entirely from parts 90617 and 90622. Quote
