There are a lot of great yellow space ships (or ships with yellow accents) out there, actually. I'll need to find you some pictures then :-P

Why is yellow only assimilated with construction and underwater vehicles ? Yellow is a fine color that suits everything, even spaceships ;-)

You know, I actually like it. The hull's way too big for a minifig fireboat, but it's red and now can be remade into the classic "Atlantic" from 6542 a lot easier, like in phoinix' thread about the remake with the police boat.

i think fire boat is a dumb concept. they should just have a coast guard theme instead. coast guards perform a variety of functions, such as keeping the shores safe from pirates (policing), and saving boats/ships on fire (fire?), and perform emergency rescue operation such as cpr, life buoys and life vests (hospital)...

Well, looks like my prediction came true! Aquaraiders is (thank goodness) not <insert that tiresome argument> at all, with cool subs, great diver figures and accesories, and best of all, Brick Built Animals! I'm so relieved... :'-)

Thumbs up to TLC for bringing new life to 2007 and Divers! I'm so getting some of these sets (man, I'm really broke next year... X-D )

BTW, I do not like that fire boat at all. Too many colors and a bad design, plus it's too darn huge! Let's hope that the rest of City 2007 is better.... |-/

Thank you lego for not fudgeing up aquaraiders and not giving us a crapy rehash of alpha team. IT looks like weve goten the best of both worlds. Big subs but no junior bricks or bionicle parts. Looks like the Clone comander will be trading his battle armour in for a wet suit.

Oh god, 2007 is going to be an expenisive year! These look much better than I expected! Although there are too many weapons, this can be easily fixed. And I can't wait for this shipwreck!

I'm not a big fan of yellow, but the sub designs are awesome. The shooting thingies don't bother me, but they scare my dog :-D. I'm really glad they used brick built beast. Some of the best official Lego brick beast yet, if they acually release them as is. Does the shark look familiar to anyone? I wouldn't say they stole my design, because it's significantly different, but also somewhat similar. *y*

It looks like a blue trident insignia on the helmets, neat!

I almost think the hull is too small. Lego fireboats should be more like set 4031.

Seems like Lego didn't put much design thought into this one. It looks like they just took the police boat hull, painted it red, added some some slopes and water guns and called it a fireboat. Again, set 4031 showed a lot more design thought.

Real life fireboats are sooo much more interesting. Let this fireboat and other real fireboats be the inspiration.

though i wont be buying any of these sets... i must comment that these are specacular !!!

they have a great 1990's feel to them. in concept and visual appeal.

this is definietly a step in the right direction for LEGO... man, after seeing exo-force, knights kingdom, and others... i had lost faith in LEGO. but batman, 10176, and aquaraiders have really turned that opinion around.

i never thought i would say this, but maybe we could see a pirate-ish or cc-ish line in the future.

im actually starting to like the current LEGO company !!!
