Starwars4J Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 I guess I might as well upload, even though it's not that good :-/ This unnamed knight appeared at the castle of King Broli seeking a place to stay for the night. Feeling great power, the King ordered five of his best knights to attack this new knight in the middle of the...well, night. All five were slain. The King offered great amounts of gold to the knight to join his ever-growing army to help defeat the growing menace of a Necromancer at the edges of his Kingdom, but the knight refused to take a single gram, and instead fights for his own reasons. He's been a valuable asset to the kindgom, and has been the only one able to take on a walking dead on his own. Rumor has it that he wields the legendary Axe Produxi-Ater. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted July 9, 2006 Author Posted July 9, 2006 I really like the axe. Your story adds interest as well. Quote
Starwars4J Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 Thanks, I just came up with it as I was writing because...well, just a picture is boring :-P Quote
Sir Dillon Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 So, this is pretty much just showing your sigfig knight? Are custom pieces allowed? Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted July 9, 2006 Author Posted July 9, 2006 Any knight at all that you build (sigfig or other). Should be Lego pieces only though. Decals are allowed. Quote
Shakar Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 So, I can't use stickers from Classic Castle? Oh well.... As soon as my pieces from Bricklink arrive, I shall finish my Knight, which also is my sigfig. I only need the pointed visor. ;-) Shakar Quote
oo7 Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 You say Horses are allowed, what about other LEGO animal peices? Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted July 10, 2006 Author Posted July 10, 2006 So, I can't use stickers from Classic Castle? Oh well.... You CAN use stickers/decals. You say Horses are allowed, what about other LEGO animal peices? Any Lego piece. Just no custom pieces. Quote
oo7 Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Ok, cool Here's my Knight, Sir Noiric, his mythical three-headed Canine beats any horse. He's *skull* EVIL *skull* Quote
Sir Dillon Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 I'm not sure if this is in my place to say this, as it isn't my contest. But I thought I'd point out that so far, everyones' entry pictures have been too big. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted July 11, 2006 Author Posted July 11, 2006 Starwars4J's picture is definately too large. Mine is just a little larger due to the frame added to the original picture (can be portrait or landscape). The 1st picture on this post is just an advertisement announcing the contest. 007 is smaller than the limit. I'll shrink the images that are larger. Share you knight Sir Dillon. We need more entries. optimus-convoy Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 This is Vincent, he's a new recruit to the royal order of knights. He's just the kind of cocky, superficial, novice that could make any veteran cringe. He's very fasion consious to the point of refusing to wear a helmet and wearing brightly colored armor. He weilds a mighty sword that has a long reach along with the standard issue sheild. Almost every knight in the order hates this guy. They like to call him "Joker" behind his back. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted July 12, 2006 Author Posted July 12, 2006 Some very original entries. Any more out there? Quote
ghoulrealm Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 This is my elite knight. He weilds a broadsword and an ornate battle axe. I was going to make the axe into a mace but I need 2 more batarangs. Quote
Sir Dillon Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Neat Knight, Ghoulrealm. :-) Is the bat axe thing attached to the knight, or just part of the background? Quote
ghoulrealm Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Is the bat axe thing attached to the knight, or just part of the background? It's tightly tucked into the fold of the cape. Quote
Shakar Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Sigh, I can't enter. :-( My camera died. Too bad, I had a pretty cool Black Knight, riding Fafnir. Oh, I like your knight's axe, ghoulrealm. Shakar Quote
xwingyoda Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Darn camera !! Okie I will need to recharge the battery before I can submit my knight ;-) I will post my pic tomorrow on our National Hollyday hehe, so please wait for my entry Brickster before putting the poll ;-) There are some nice entries so far yeay !! *yoda* Quote
Sir Dillon Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Sigh, I can't enter. :-( My camera died. Too bad, I had a pretty cool Black Knight, riding Fafnir. Maybe if you described him or posted links to the various parts he uses, someone here could recreate him for you? Quote
Berry Syedow Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Wellwitt is an undead being who must drink ale every day to retain his immortality. None of the memories from his previous life survive. Uncertainty clouds his mind. Has he been cursed, or blessed from above? Did his mortal heart thrive with intentions of good or evil. He hopes that his travels will lead him to his destiny, and ultimately reveal who he is. Quote
ghoulrealm Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Ugh, I don't know how to resize the image.... Here you go, bud *sweet* "Wellwitt" by Berry Syedow Save it to your files just in case my server goes down. Quote
