WesternOutlaw Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 Check out this great Medieval village MOC. I love the classic design. The large yellow castle is excellent: The whole gallery: Buildenham Quote
Norro Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 I'm not a yellow castle fan so it is hard to comment... but the gatehouse in the background looks quite nice and a few of the small models are alright, though I prefer them to be closed in this type of layuot. God Bless, Nathan Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted September 29, 2006 Author Posted September 29, 2006 The yellow castle just brings back my early castle experiences. Fun time! Quote
Athos Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 I just saw this over at classic-castle. I'd love to do a project like it someday, though I just can't decide which theme to do it in: town, pirates, castle, wild west...? Steve Quote

Djole Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 I like development of yellow castle here, yellow and blue are working well... Tudor styled houses are pretty neat, also as the number of civilans which is pretty good for A VILLAGE ;-) Well, it Quote

WesternOutlaw Posted October 1, 2006 Author Posted October 1, 2006 I supposed that the guy was lacking in his bricks...Well, overall, NICE :-) Who isn't? Everytime I go to build a MOC, I run out of pieces that I need to complete. Quote
Djole Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Who isn't? Everytime I go to build a MOC, I run out of pieces that I need to complete. Mate, here the whole baseplate(s) is missing ;-) Lacking in bricks is the cruel reality we all must face... And it Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted October 11, 2006 Author Posted October 11, 2006 It would take a lot of pieces. There seems to be no limit in terms of the types and colors of various pieces these days. Quote
Minifig Lecturer Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Once on display in a shop when I was younger there was a huge yellow castle, maybe 2 metres high, 1 metre wide, up a yellow/grey lego mountain. Has anyone ever come across something like this as it was great and it probably toured various shops around europe? I guess it was probably in the late 1980s. The model was in same style as this yellow castle, just huge. I like yellow castles I must say. Yellow is a nice colour! :-) *y* Quote
Norro Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 I have seen a model to the one you mention referenced online, check CC. God Bless, Nathan Quote

They used to have lego exhibitions each christmas. The castle was on show there once although I think it was just a normal time of the year. *y* Quote
