TheUtilityBelt Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Once Heinsen and Kyle had left the cemetery and reached the palace, the duke called them into his throne room. Then the duke said, "Heinsen of Carn, I realize you fought in the battle against Petarea's forces. I like your courage and would like to give you and your friend here," Kyle, you mean." Heinsen interupted " His name is Kyle." Yes. You and Kyle have gained my respect. I now give you both the title of thane." he says, " you both will recieve a home and a housecarl-in-training." At this, Heinsen was amazed! Who would think he would receive a house and a housecarl from the duke! He was also given a suit of armor. So was Kyle. Hope you enjoyed it! C&C welcome Quote
Gideon Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 (edited) Nice figures and interesting floor design! I would recommend some more light and that you mind the direction of the light for the photography however. The first shot looks lit in the wrong direction and the camera seems to have introduced some unnecessary noise when compensating the low light conditions. Edited September 8, 2014 by Gideon Quote
IenjoyLego89 Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Nice build and story :) the figure combos are class! However I do agree with Gideon that a little bit more light will help :) Quote
Scaevola Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Nice build, well-made throne and figs Quote
TheUtilityBelt Posted September 9, 2014 Author Posted September 9, 2014 Yeah sorry about the pics guys. But I got a light box yesterday on my birthday so I'll get some better pics! Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Nice figs! Cool to see you upgrading your characters! Quote
Gunman Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Nice armor to your char mate. Also Nice sigfig pic Quote
LordDan Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Cool throne and I like the new armor! Nice use of a leaf stem in the helmet! Quote
IenjoyLego89 Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Yeah sorry about the pics guys. But I got a light box yesterday on my birthday so I'll get some better pics! Nice one! :) looking forward to seeing pics using that :) Quote
vitreolum Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Heh, interesting use of that leaf. Nice scene. Quote
mccoyed Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Cool little scene. I'll echo the compliments about the figs and the suggestion about better lighting! Quote
MassEditor Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Nice scene TUB, especially like the throne and snotted floor. Quote
Thomas of Tortuga Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Nice work. I really like the custom green helmet crest. Quote
Hammerhand Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Nice throne room, it looks very regal! Nice guards too, I like the yellow and blue combination for their arms. My main suggestion would be to put some tiles on the top, to cover up those studs. Quote
Yzalirk Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Nice little build and I like the minifig in the armor with the katana along with the throne, nice job. Quote
de Gothia Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 I like the throne room and the figs! Better lightning and pics showing the whole moc (all the pics have been cut of in their corners) would be great! Quote
TheUtilityBelt Posted September 9, 2014 Author Posted September 9, 2014 Thanks for all the sugestions guys! This was my first try at a SNOT floor but at the bottom it showed the inside of the bricks so I cut it of in the pics. And the leaf just broke off one of my bamboo leaves and i knew it would fit somehow... Quote
BrickCurve Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I really like the wall on the side technique used for the floor. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Nice flags and throne Their new armor looks very good as well Quote
robuko Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Nice scene and good snot floor. If you orient the studs the other way on the floor and tile off the front and the top, it would raise the build a notch. I feel your pain on lighting, I can never get it right, looking forward to seeing what you can do with a light box! Quote
