For a time I was thinking that I ran out of new ideas, having built over a dozen tank models. Then I decided to give it another try:

Fantastic details! Also, love the movement of the hull-mounted machine gun, the engine compartment and the wheel hubs used on the front (idler?) wheels!

Then I was all: "Oh? Sariel made this one? I guess I'll check it out, but I probably won't like it."

Finally I was all:

Wow. That's amazing work. Bravo.

Is it too soon to nominate Sariel for HOF again? Heck, this could be in both MT and Technic.

I'm also trying to figure out what the 9 motors control... Heck, where did you FIT 9 motors in there? 35 centimeters isn't all that much space and that V-12 motor block is a huge portion of that volume.

This model does seem very Hall of fame worthy

The V-12 is a impressive feat, even in my Tiger I that's approximately twice the footprint of yours could have fit a V-12 but it took up too much space for other components, so it mounted a V-8.

There are so many functions that make this model the best RC tiger model built out of bricks, the proportions are nearly perfect in every respect and that you could pack 9 motors into it.

I think that I have learned from my Tiger build that a fixed scale (1/15) for all of my models makes it difficult for proportioning parts (like the road wheels). So I have some inspiration from this model that "bigger=better" isn't always true and I will be using some of the characteristics of this model in a King Tiger model in the future.

Im still wondering about the motors too?

2 L motors for drive

2 micro motors for MG elevation and traverse

3 M motors for turret traverse, gun elevation/ depression, engine,

Where are the other 2 motors used, a separate one for the opening engine bay ?

also after seeing this model, I'm really excited to see what you have planned for the T29 and the M1 Abrams

When I saw it on TheLegoCarBlog, I went crazy. I was a German WWII Tank maniac for quite a while, so I spent a lot with looking at them (even made paper model MOC). The first thing that caught my eyes was the perfect-looking proportions. Almost all Lego Tank models I've seen so far was off somewhere, or the models with good proportions were completely stud-covered.

The surface you this tank is beautiful and the model's size is perfect too.

There's only one little thing: I would have gone for a brick-built Model Team style engine instead.

2 x Micro for MG

2 x M for turret traverse & elevation

1 x 71427 for driving the V12

1 x M for driving the radiators fans

Well, largely because I'm an Android user, like 85% of the market, but the SBrick app is not yet available outside iOs. I'm told it's coming soon.

Were only two PF IR receivers enough to control all the functions or are there more, hidden in the dark? Otherwise, a true peace of art you've built!

Oh yes, and how did you get the cannon to be strong enough - I am aiming to that DBG minifig head piece (if that is what it is) - is there a way to put any reinforcement through that piece?

I like the electric bass part of the video. You should do that in more of your presentations.

Many of functions were coupled, controlled manually, or always on.

I have a question about decals/markings, did you use waterside decals or paper that has been adhered to the vehicle ?

Because I Might be making decals for my Ft-17, I won't be using waterside decals because they are a more perminate solution.
