Disco86 Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 (edited) We are running the Star Wars Olympics now at our german forum Imperium der Steine, this is my entry to the first round. The task was to create a scene on 32x32 studs to show a sorrounding for one of the promotional figures. I have choosen the first scene of Episode I with the TC-14 figure. The original picture was without the figure, so that the jury had to guess it, but I am showing you the final take, to make you see the full scene. Slurpifier Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Oh, I like this! From the wall, to the chairs, to the door! Very nice build here! Quote
Dapper-D2 Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Great texturing everywhere. Love the table and chairs too and I especially like how you've done the rafters. Quote

AudiBobaR5-D2 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 (edited) Great recreation of the start of Episode I. One of my favourite scenes in all of Star Wars. Impressive build. Edited September 29, 2014 by AudiBobaR5-D2 Quote
dustinscriven Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 I LOVE the chairs! Do the doors actually work? Quote
Mr Man Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Oooh, very nice , it's a bit of a shame you didn't include the window side though, I liked the bit where they are looking through the window and taking their hoods down, it had a nice OT feel to it. Quote
Zerobricks Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Instantly recognazible! Good job. Quote
deanorth Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 this is really nicely done, I especially love how you've created the door. Quote
Spyderlord Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Fantastic diorama! I love the great SNOT work and these beams! I second the question about the doors, do they open? Quote
Disco86 Posted October 13, 2014 Author Posted October 13, 2014 Thanks for that great feedback ! Always fun to build some Star Wars scenes it's a bit of a shame you didn't include the window side though, The rules in the contest said 32x32 footprint, so there was unfortunatle not enough space for that. It was necessary to build the door, because the scene is about TC-14. I second the question about the doors, do they open? The do not, but it would not be that complicated, because the already rest on tiles. There is just no free room to make them fade away. Quote
Jakorin Swiftsword Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Really fantastic work here! Your work never fails to impress me, Paul! :) Quote
markus1984 Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 And the next one from the contest and here i can also say the same - great work and perfect "rebuilding" of the movie scene. markus Quote
MKJoshA Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Without the figs I think this build is instantly recognizable! Quote
