vitreolum Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 (edited) My entry for MEC category C. Hopefully I manage to make a build for the other categories before the timeline. Edited January 17, 2015 by vitreolum Quote
TheLegoDr Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Very well done. I can easily picture this as a continuation of a larger MOC, which shows how well it works. I like the water effect and the angled barrels. Works very well. I like the foliage and the tree. I've considered building a tree similar to that trunk style, but never could make it work. I now see how simple it is and will try again in the future. Quote
Zerobricks Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Aweseome scene! I love the details and I especially like the way you decorated the outside of the diorama. Quote
IenjoyLego89 Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Looks very good, one of my favourite scenes :) Quote
MontyPython Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Great interpretation, it's nice to see a Hobbit scene ... Quote
Slegengr Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Nice build, Vitreolum! I particularly like the tree, both the trunk and the leaves on top. The water is nice with the angled barrels. The border adds a nice effect to the whole build. Brick on, Vitreolum! Quote
Black Numenorean Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Nice moc! very beautiful contest thanks to mocer! Quote
Disco86 Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 I always love MOCs about the barrel scene, built one by myself and it was great fun. You made the water look rushed and the foliage adds a nice touch ! Quote
Sir Gareth Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Very nice build, Vitreolum! I love all the different details. The various plant life is well done. My favorite part though, is the barrels in the water. The angling of them really helps make the current appear fast and rapid. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Lovely little landscape Very cool base as well, the rings are a good touch Quote
AFOLguy1970 Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 This is very nice and captures the scene perfectly. I also like the border details. Quote
cullmancreations Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Very very cool, the way you designed the tree is interesting and I like how you were able to make the Barrels look submerged slightly in the water Quote
