Regenerate builder Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Good job! Looks like it would be a fun set to own! Quote
Zerobricks Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 The fact you used Hero factory parts for the monster really makes the model interesting. All that neon transparent orange really makes him look menicing. Nicely done. Quote
Adolfo Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Very nice your Balrog! It's a simple set with good minifigures and bricks and this is the secret. Congrats! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Sweet balrog design! The rock sections/catapult give a nice Moria atmosphere and playability Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 This is definetely a missing set. Well done. The Balrog has turned out really huge. I would not want to meet one Quote
Sir Gareth Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Sweet build, Infernum! That Balrog is awesome! It looks very posable and fun to play with. Nice use of all those trans pieces and the Tauntaun horns. I also like the changes made to Boromir, the gloves look a lot better than just bare hands. Quote
Wat Tambor Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Well that set looks awesome! If this one were an actual LEGO set I would certainly buy it. The choice of minifigs is great for a set of that size and you can never get enough Orcs. I also like the play-features like the little catapult it reminds me a bit of the catapult from the Helm's Deep set for Gimli. And of course the Balrog also looks great, it is really well built but if LEGO would release a set like this I hope they will do a brick-built Balrog or a giant figure like the Cave Troll or Goblin King. As is said before, this is a really nice entry. Good luck in the contest! Quote
