BrickCurve Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 (edited) Part 2 http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=102431 Captain Farius a citizen of Avalonia first arrived in Kaliphlin as the sole survivor of the sinking of his merchant ship. Being on deck at the time he was at the prow of the ship while his second in command was steering the boat. The ship was caught in a storm and washed onto a rocky outcrop and sunk. Captain Farius was washed off the rocks and eventually floated to through the Inland Sea until he came to castle Anrarr where he was washed up on the beach. Guard Captain- My lord, a body has washed up on the beach! Lord Parimere- A dead body? Guard Captain- We have not checked sir. Lord Parimere- Well what are you waiting for! Come on! (They make there way down the beach to where the body lay). Lord Parimere- He's still alive. Captain, get him inside. Guard Captain- Yes Sir! And that was how captain Farius arrived in Kaliphlin. I wold like to claim UoP credits for hydrology, flowing water. Edited November 15, 2014 by BrickCurve Quote
narbilu Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Wow... nice MOC and the introduction story is original. Success on the rest of the story line. Quote

Jakorin Swiftsword Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Great work! Love the colors you chose for that wall. Quote
Slegengr Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Very nice build and story, BrickCurve! I am looking forward to the rest of the story! The wall and sluice gate are well done. The foliage looks nice, not overdone, enough to look realistic. The water looks nice as well, especially the posing of Lord Farius partially under the water. Your Kaliphlin troops are very nice. The only improvement I can see would be to make the banks farthest from the gate a little bit less squared. A few more steps of plates toward the border of the MOC or some wedge plates might make this look more realistic. The squared edges with the brick border coming from the gate work very well, as they are man-made, but nature usually does not have straight lines. Brick on, BrickCurve! Quote
Jorrith Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Yeah! Another great story to follow! Awesome build, it has alot of nicely built features like the water, the plants, the wall, and excellent figure posing. Quote
mccoyed Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Nice build. For whatever reason, maybe the geometry is reminiscent, it makes me think of PS1 era Tactical RPGs like Final Fantasy Tactics or Tactics Ogre. Quote
Hammerhand Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Cool build! I like the river flowing into the inland sea, nice idea. Quote
