robertdeartois Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Hi everyone! I've built my TC5 contest entry from set 9391 and set 42004. Name of entry: Half tracked grass cutter 1, Working steering 2, Rotating cutter blades while pulling the machine forward or backward 3, Adjustable cutting blades angle 4, Working windlass 5, Although it's not a function, but the machine has a set of spare wheels pictures: Quote
Jeroen Ottens Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Never seen such a machine in real life, but it looks like a solid build. Nice set of functions Quote
ms09 Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Actually a half-track vehicle was also the first idea which came to my mind, but I had no 9391. Quote
robertdeartois Posted November 15, 2014 Author Posted November 15, 2014 Thank you! Yes, it does really not exist in real life but i wanted to built something that is different from the orginal ones. Quote
matelegotechnic Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Very good model, but where is the building instructions?? Quote
MajklSpajkl Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 (edited) @matelegotechnic: Where in the contest rules does it say that building instructions are obligatory? It's up to the builder whether he wants to makecthem or not. I think we all (myself included) got a bit spoiled and expect BI for each MOC that someone posts. Try reverse engineering maybe for once, it is not that big model... To get back on topic, the grass cutting function is something new to put on the halftrack, which I like. Seems like someone renewed an old WWII vehicle and make it look friendly :-) The shape of the main vehicle turned out really well. Edited November 22, 2014 by MajklSpajkl Quote
