I need ~20 eager players as well as several reserves.

Also, there are a few changes to the standard EB rules - read these before signing up.

1. Each player will be given a character to play, who will be aligned with either the Loyal Representatives or the Octan Corporation. To win the game, the Representaties must remove from office all the Octan Lobbyists, while the Octan Corp. needs to outnumber the Reprsentatives. Third-Party (neutral) characters have their own win conditions as outlined in their roles.

2. Each day you will be able to vote to impeach a player. Voting should be done in the following format; Vote: Character (Player). Similarly, unvoting is to be done in the format; Unvote: Character (Player). No other format will be accepted. A majority vote is required to lynch a player.

3. A game day will last a maximum of 72 hours. You may not vote in the first 24 hours. The day will end when a majority vote has been reached. After the day has concluded, a night stage will commence, which will last a maximum of 48 hours. Night actions must be sent to the host in the first 24 hours of the night stage.

4. The alignment of impeached players, as well as those who are removed from office, will be revealed at the beginning of the following day.

5. You may not quote or pretend to quote anything sent to or from you in PM with the game host. This includes all the details of your character and role, as well as any night action results. Role claims and reporting of night action results are acceptable, but in your own words only. Do not attempt to use the structure of your role PM to your advantage.

6. Do not play the game outside the thread. Similarly, do not post out of character inside the thread; you must always play the role given to you. Game tactics and roles may only be discussed in the game thread or via PM with other players. Private discussion is done at your own risk and should be treated as part of the game.

7. If you are out of office, you may not post in thread or discuss the game with any of the players. Any information you had becomes void, and may not be passed on.

8. You may not edit your posts.

9. You must post in every day thread.

10. If you encounter a problem or have a question, please contact the host via PM.

11. Violation of the above rules will result in a warning from the host on your first offense, and a removal from the game on your second.

12. Violation of rule 7 will have a heavier penalty, made at the discretion of the Games Moderator.

I have 2 questions: 1) is voting mandatory and 2) will there be some type of hiatus/break during Christmas (24-25-26th)?

1) played several games here and none elsewhere.

2) my performance is 'OK' I tend to overthink things and to generally act scummy. I've been fortunate enough to have great mentors in my teams (Speedy!!) and they've helped me get a better understanding of the game. I feel I'm constantly improving.... I guess!

I had a great recent game, slipped up at the end though. I hope folks don't metagame and act overly suspicious of me since last game I played strong town as a scum.

I didn't...just graduate that is

The last two games haven't been great, but there were serious interferences IRL, unfortunately. My scumdar is plain broken.

Nope. Not played a one.

Technic, duh. Though that's just building what Lego designed and sold. My brain doesn't like coming up with my own technic creations. So I also do train and have a good-sized layout in the basement that I'd like to get back to someday....

Bland, sometimes good, sometimes bad and sometimes when it has gone bad, it has gone really bad.

A strength that I have (or someone could call it lucky) I think it is that I have had a tendency to survive many possible and impossible situations.

Weakness, many but Sometimes too trustworthy (atleast in the last 2 games), have to work on that in the next game.

Answer: Barring any unforeseen circumstances, yes.

5. Finally, the fun question. What is your favorite LEGO theme?

Answer: It's varied. It used to be Star Wars, then I branched into town, finally into space. Now I suppose it's just the modular buildings.

I would love to be in it!

1.) I'm a bit of an amateur, I guess you could say since I've only participated in one game so far. Aside from EB, I've played a game with a very similar concept called "Town of Salem", if you've heard of it. If not, it's got the basic rules with night time actions from a Doctor, SK, Mafia or even a Vigilante. There's also a lookout who really just defends himself at night three times as well. I've played a lot of the game so I understand how a lot of it works.

2.) It's hard to determine my strengths and weaknesses based off one game but a strength from me, I'd say, is to embrace and endure. No matter what accusations go against me, I try to find ways to point it on someone else who appears to look more scummier than me. Some weaknesses would be that I'm not very convincing at times and giving up. I'd like to improve of my weakness as well.

3.) I'm not sure whether or not I'd be classified as a Mafia Game Graduate but I do understand the rules and how they work. I always abide by the hosts rule so don't expect any defiance out of me.

4.) For the most part, I can participate daily and have more than a few posts. Very rarely, I may not be available for half a day. And by that I mean I may just get in a few posts and am only available for maybe a hour or two.

5.) I like a few LEGO themes but the one that has appealed to me, most recently, has been The Lone Ranger. I'm a sucker for wild west-themed sets and I do like fleshy minifigs. Like I said, I do like other themes like The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings sets.

1. Passed the last Mafia school, though I lost the last night (picked the wrong Townie to stab in the night).

2. I'm pretty new still; I could have won the School if I had gone with my gut instead of flipping a coin, but I got a lot of feedback saying that in a more advanced game I would have been outed pretty early based on my play.

3. I read (most of) Red Menace Mafia while I was playing the School, but it didn't seem to help - I didn't really understand what was going on without more context.

4. I'll be able to post every game day (and at least every 24 hours), but I'm in a new job that is much more involved and time consuming so my posts won't be nearly as often as the Mafia School game I played.

5. The "Dino" line (including Dino Attack and Dino 2010) - how can you not love these great helicopters?

I have only played mafia once, but I loved it so much that I will join every game from now on if possible.

It was decent. I think I was a bit overly eager, but I didn't fail.

Yes, the Excalibur one. And all I can say is that I need to act more town-like if I am mafia, and less mafia-like if I am town.

I tend to take a while for me to get warmed up and sometimes find myself stuck in the background for the first few days. I hope that a greater focus on PMing could help with this.
