Petric_G Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Petricel was hunting with his blowpipe at the border of an old clay mine. As he felt the vibration and suddenly he know, this are the dwarfs digging thru the ground. Nearly all elves know, that the dwarfs did had the plan to dig some tunnels for there invasion, but they didn't know where they end. But Petricel thought that this one will end in the clay mine. So he run back to Town and informed Lord Mutigried. Some hours later... ... the first dwarf break thru the wall of the clay mine But then the dwarves stopped and looked quite irritated to... ... Lord Multigrid, tables with food and a smiling elf behind the potes with boiling squirrel and cow head stew. Yes, the plan from Lord Multigrid was to surprise the dwarfs with some good food and to discuss the Affair and the drow issue. So he hoped that the dwarves are really hungry after the digging and ordered some more meat, wine and beer! But are the dwarfs willing to deal with Lord Mutigried? Just in case they won't. The brought some elven archers in position and called some more soldiers to stay ready. Quote
Slegengr Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Nicely done, Petric_G! The story is great and well-shown in the images. I really like how you showed the dwarves mining through the wall! The clay pit looks nice overall. The only suggestion I have would be to use more wedge plates and foliage to break up the straight border between the green on top and the brown clay. The path into the clay pit is great with the different steps and curves to allow the minifigs to move down The bushes work well for hiding the sentries as well. I am surprised the dwarves would trust the elves though, especially when they serve cow-head stew... ! Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Good story - and great how the dwarves are coming through the wall. Great choice of food! A squirrel?? Quote
soccerkid6 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Really like your storyline and the way you portrayed the dwarves breaking through the ground is superb Those elves must be pretty strong to carry a cow Quote
mccoyed Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Those elves have made strange dietary choices. I thought elves only ate flowers and drank dew? Quote
mpoh98 Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Nice entry, I like the idea, and the build is great! Love the path, but the section where the dwarves break through is definitely the highlight of this moc, well done! Quote
Ecclesiastes Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Yes food is indeed a dwarf's weakness! Nice shots while they're breaking through the rocks! Quote
de Gothia Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 An excellent idea! The dwarfs breaking out is as said before just great! And yes! Avalonian elves re really strong!! =) Quote
