Posted February 15, 201510 yr Hello fellow builders! This is my entry for the 6th technic contest: a mini mech It has a powerful claw to grab stuff and a boxing arm to defeat itself By moving the arms you can switch the output of one M motor to the claw or the boxing arm. Power Functions: 2 IR receiver 1 AAA battery box 2 L motors for the tracks 1 M motor for arm movement and operating the gearbox 1 M motor for the claw / boxing arm Finally a very short video, so you can see this little guy in action Hope you like it! download the .lxf Edited March 15, 20159 yr by Fissl

February 16, 201510 yr Good work, I love the multitude of functions all crammed in that small body, and your overall design rocks!
February 16, 201510 yr Wall E has finally a friend in the contest! :) I dunno, I think he might punch Wall-E with his boxing hand Nice little Mech though, for sure.
February 17, 201510 yr Author Thank you guys! When the voting is finished i will publish some improvements and a LDD-file, so we can build up a huge army Good work, I love the multitude of functions all crammed in that small body, and your overall design rocks! yes it was really challenging to cram the whole stuff in the small body. It took 3 rebuilds, but every time it became a bit smaller I dunno, I think he might punch Wall-E with his boxing hand Nice little Mech though, for sure. of course he won't punch this sad little wall-e he's a friendly guy...
March 15, 20159 yr Author finally i managed to finish the .lxf . I 've improved the switching mechanism so it's more reliable. Also the claw is revised what makes it easier to grab stuff while building the new claw i had the idea that it would be nice if you had different arms with different functions. e.g. a small claw, big claw, ball shooter, boxing-arm, etc. so you could easily exchange the arms depending on the mech's "mission". Any other ideas for nice arm-tools?
