Posted March 11, 20159 yr Do you know what your looking at? Can you guess what this part is and also what it does? I give you one hint this hint might revel everything or it might reveal nothing depends on how you perceive things but here it is. There is at least a 100+ of them in front of you at any given time of the day. This is what I am built with this part here: link to post Edited April 5, 20159 yr by Boxerlego
March 11, 20159 yr I was going to guess a computer keyboard with 101 keys but ... I'm not at my computer all day long. As for atom or oxygen molecule, well, the shape is a bit off, way off.
March 11, 20159 yr Hydrogen atom is far closer to that shape, though the square-ness is a bit distracting. still given the hint, my answer is Hydrogen atom.
March 11, 20159 yr It looks like a 1x1 round plate to me. I have hundreds of those in front of me at any given point of the day.
March 12, 20159 yr Author Is it an atom? Its not an atom. I was going to guess a computer keyboard with 101 keys but ... I'm not at my computer all day long. As for atom or oxygen molecule, well, the shape is a bit off, way off. Think about it DRJB, I'm not at my computer all day long either but you could have one all day long. Hydrogen atom is far closer to that shape, though the square-ness is a bit distracting. still given the hint, my answer is Hydrogen atom. It is LEGO bricks. Or... Part of a TV screen. TV screen, something part of it. Certainly in a metaphysical sense.
March 12, 20159 yr Think about it DRJB, I'm not at my computer all day long either but you could have one all day long. Well then: how about a touch/virtual keyboard on any of the devices below: 1. iPad/Tablet 2. iPhone/SmartPhone Still off? Edited March 12, 20159 yr by DrJB
March 12, 20159 yr So hints so far are… There are at least 100 of these. They are Always in front of us. Part of a TV in a “Metaphysical” way. (Metaphysics implies that it isn’t a tangible object) So, is it a shadow? There are always shadows, and its non-tangible, can be cast from a TV screen. (and I’m probably thinking to analytically for this, but I I’m intrigued enough to keep trying)
March 13, 20159 yr Author Well then: how about a touch/virtual keyboard on any of the devices below: 1. iPad/Tablet 2. iPhone/SmartPhone Still off? Getting warm their DrJB. So hints so far are… There are at least 100 of these. They are Always in front of us. Part of a TV in a “Metaphysical” way. (Metaphysics implies that it isn’t a tangible object) So, is it a shadow? There are always shadows, and its non-tangible, can be cast from a TV screen. (and I’m probably thinking to analytically for this, but I I’m intrigued enough to keep trying) Good guess, tho its not a shadow. Even though its can be seen as a non tangible object it still can be plenty useful for a TV. Is it a pixel? The individual unit that makes up all kinds of display screens? Its not a pixel either. Is it part of the human eye? It not apart of a real eye but it certainly apart of a fake eye.
March 13, 20159 yr Author That is a good guess dr_spock. But its not a IR receiver. There is more to that picture then meets the eye. All the LEGO parts that are listed is right except two.
March 13, 20159 yr Looks like, from bottom to top 4 x 4 plate, black 1 x 1tile, purple 2 x 3 brick, grey 1 x 3 brick, grey 3 x 3 plate, black 1 x 1 round plate, grey In short, a group of LEGO pieces. Andy D
March 16, 20159 yr Author Once the part is guessed then we can move on to what it does. Looks like, from bottom to top 4 x 4 plate, black 1 x 1tile, purple 2 x 3 brick, grey 1 x 3 brick, grey 3 x 3 plate, black 1 x 1 round plate, grey In short, a group of LEGO pieces. Andy D Its more then a Group of LEGO pieces. Is it a cell? Its not a cell. But what is in the picture needs a cell of some sort... A remote control??? What do I win? That is close DrJB. A remote control has plenty of these.... Is it some sort of lens? Not even. A bacteria/microscopic organism? Its not alive... yet. Edited March 16, 20159 yr by Boxerlego
March 17, 20159 yr It's a Virus! They're not classified as alive yet, so it fits that, and they are on basically every surface. Viruses also need a cell to reproduce. ~Beltar I'm not sure what type of virus it is though... Edited March 17, 20159 yr by Commander Beltar
