UB's alternate uses: Ice Cube Tray & Jell-O Mould

Since Hinckley did a review of the ice cube tray with ice cubes, I thought about doing something similar too..

So I though about my chocolate dream.. And BANG! An idea crashed into my brain! I could find other uses for this "crap"! :-P

So I will do several reviews of these beauties (it's not crap, Hinkie!) showing what other things they can be used for! ;-)

Starting off with this one:

UniqueBuilder finds other uses for the Glorious Ice Cube Tray and the fabulous Jell-O-Mould !!

Today: Chocolate Bricks!!

Yup, I'm going to make chocolate bricks with these lil' fellas. ;-) And here I go!

I will of course start with the materials I need; the Ice Cube Tray, the Jell-O-Mould, and of course, CHOCOLATE! *wub*

Mmh.. Chocolate... *sing*

Melt on!!

Two down, eight to go..

Done! (Hmm, that was fast..)

Now it has to cool.. (I'm a very impatient person)

Moving over to the big boy..

Looking good *wub*

Must.. Have.. *sweet*

Done.. (Seriously, you thought I was going to fill the whole tray? :-P It's 200 grams of chocolate per 2 x 2.. :-/ )

It's gotta cool before I can eat it.. :'-(

And it melts really easily.. (Keep The Tray out of this, Hinkie!)

I'm not sure if I'll do it tomorrow, but next up on the menu is ice (uhm, not ice cream, but ice with taste.. I need to take extra English lessons..).. I think I also may do lollypops! X-D

1. Grow it long

2. Go Blonde

3. Go Bald

I did all of those and now I don't know what to do!

It was an odd case of site promotion. (Please note I was a tubbier then; around 100KG. These days I am around 85KG.) It was (obviously) done in two parts with me kissing air each time. Then it was just a case of blending the photos. It took too long (and I am not sure if it achieved anything!) so I haven't done it again.

I have been planning on doing another one but with a Lego slant (cross dressing isn't that funny!), but I havn't got around to it. Since Sinnerton is rebuilt, and my 8288 crane is on the way (I hope) now could be a good time....

On a side note, I see a thread about ice cube trays and I have a tendency to go off-topic, did you know where the term spitting image was coined? Well, I'll tell you. In the American South when people saw someone who reminded them of another person, they would say they were the spirit and image of that person. Over time, as the term spread and due to heavy accents the term was run together as spittin' image...
