Jacob Nion Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 (edited) Counter against KaiNRG's wonderful guerilla When Ageven himself invites to a jousting in the desert, Osric shall not reject! While Mitgardian shag bulls are having a hard time to deal with the heat of Kaliphlin's deserts, Nocturnian cavalry boars adapt to every new environment easily. Ten points to Gryffindor if somebody can tell what piece I used for the snout That was a fun challenge Kai! Thanks! Edited April 2, 2015 by Jacob Nion Quote
Garmadon Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Great idea for a counter JN, excellent part use with that snout! Quote
LordDan Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Fantastic work on that boar! You are really good at these brick built creatures! Quote
Kai NRG Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 A joust is a brilliant idea, and the piece use for the boar's snout is excellent! Quote
Blufiji Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Solid counter! That lance is something serious. Quote
MKJoshA Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Great use of the Zelda sword for the lance and Aquanauts piece for the snout! Quote
LittleJohn Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Sweet boar! The shaping is excellent and I really like his tusks Quote
Disco86 Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Excellent counter ! And a really nice piece usage with that aquashark tank Quote
MassEditor Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Jacob, I use the term very rarely so know I'm being fully sincere: That's some serious NPU there! What a brilliant critter, way to show those hairy cattle! Great shaping on this beast, especially the head and hooves. I love that spear too (forgive me if you see some of those in my next MOC!). As an Arkansas resident, I reserve a special place in my heart for anything relating to the Hogs! Quote
Umbra-Manis Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 This my friends is how you beat a shag bull. Quote
Graham Gidman Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 That snout is just too cool. Well done! Quote
Yzalirk Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Awesome boar but the weapon just doesn't seem to fit with it. It looks more like a spear rather than a sword. The small blade on the large stick is what is killing it for me. Quote
Jacob Nion Posted April 2, 2015 Author Posted April 2, 2015 Thanks everyone very much for commenting and the kind words! An of course for aproving it! Well done. The part is this. Ten points to Gryffindor! Jacob, I use the term very rarely so know I'm being fully sincere: That's some serious NPU there! What a brilliant critter, way to show those hairy cattle! Great shaping on this beast, especially the head and hooves. I love that spear too (forgive me if you see some of those in my next MOC!). As an Arkansas resident, I reserve a special place in my heart for anything relating to the Hogs! Thanks for that rare honour! Go ahead to use it! I really wonder why so few people are using that Heroica blade. It's a damn cool piece for making weapons. This my friends is how you beat a shag bull. Hope so! Awesome boar but the weapon just doesn't seem to fit with it. It looks more like a spear rather than a sword. The small blade on the large stick is what is killing it for me. Thanks! Well, I'm not sure how you mean that. It's not supposed to be a sword, it's a lance, so if it looks like a spear that would mean it works But everybody has his preferences. something like that Quote
soccerkid6 Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 You really have a knack for brick built beasts, and this is one of my favorites so far Great lance design too I agree that those heroica swords are sadly underused, I've implemented them as pikes a bit before myself Quote
robuko Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Sheer genius on the snout! This is a fine and menacing beast, good luck on the lists. And whoever wins, we shall feast on the barbecued mount of the loser! Quote
