Jacob Nion Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 (edited) Lord Osric himself traveled to Sandsend to convince lady Phlici of ending her resistance. Fortunately Centurion Lat've was having a little accident, so that Osric could use his highly seductive charme on the fair lady "Lord Osric, draw me like one of your Nocturnian girls." Spader Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 besides the suggestive posturing and lack of minfig clothing, this is a good build. The previously mentioned, however, do detract, IMO. Quote
LittleJohn Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Nice work, Jacob! I really like the banana for an accident Quote
gedren_y Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Gotta give you this one. You pulled off a Chaplin and a DiCaprio. Quote
Captain Dee Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 (edited) The first scene is nice and funny in a silly kind of way. I like that roof technique and the door is good. As for the second scene, well... "I believe you are blushing, Mr. Big Artiste." What is this, Historanic? I'll try to force myself to focus on the rest of the scene to give you a fair critique of... uh... "the bed - I mean the couch." Seriously, "these are rather good." Okay, enough. Both builds are pretty solid and the infamous pose is done perfectly (well, almost) and I truly do like the couch. But "what are you, some kind of artist?" Good job overall! Jakorin Swiftsword Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Haha! I gotta say, this is a good one. Funny and well built. Quote
Blufiji Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 This one was both hilarious and disturbing lol. Quote
Balbo Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Great work, Jacob I really like the use of the banana Quote
Jacob Nion Posted May 11, 2015 Author Posted May 11, 2015 Thanks everone very much! Gotta give you this one. You pulled off a Chaplin and a DiCaprio. Thanks, finest thing is when people value a bit popcultural reference. The first scene is nice and funny in a silly kind of way. Haha, thank you. All so thank you for all your high quality comments. I was going to answer them in previous threads, but I didn't want to push them up again. Quote
Khorne Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 besides the suggestive posturing and lack of minfig clothing, this is a good build. The previously mentioned, however, do detract, IMO. He's obviously parodying that scene from Titanic. Would be kind of hard to do with a fully dressed minifigure . Besides, it's only plastic . If you haven't seen Titanic, this is the scene. Warning: there is suggestive posturing and lack of real people clothing . I like the scene . It's simple but effective. I haven't mentioned it anywhere before, because I mostly browse the History forum and look upon the MOCs here in awe, but I really like the design of your 'rats'. That snake-as-tail is very clever . Captain Braunsfeld Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 The banana picture is superb! The "other picture" is ... Quote
soccerkid6 Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 I like the wall design, and the little roof made of cones is a nice touch Quote
J031 Ty3r Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Looks good but I have to agree with Andrew LOL the banana Quote
