Posted May 11, 20159 yr Heres my entry for war zone 14. In the city of Qarkyr one of the oldest tricks in the book is working in the favor of the brave far eastern citizens led by a brave camo-crocodiles and an ulandus footmen. The old spice bags and coin piles lured the greedy east kaliphlinites and their desert king allies into an alleyway next to an abandoned temple. Untitled by mlarbconnor, on Flickr Overall view, the DK supporters walked into the alley only to find crossbowmen springing from every nook and cranny. Untitled by mlarbconnor, on Flickr The crossbowmen popping out of barrels and the specially camouflaged crocodile, Dk doesn't get all the crocs. Untitled by mlarbconnor, on Flickr View of the dead DK supporters, the far east civilian coming out of the temple, and the fleeing east kaliphlinite. Untitled by mlarbconnor, on Flickr Figless. Go Ulandus, C&C appreciated, thanks. Edited May 11, 20159 yr by Rconn0
May 11, 20159 yr The structure makes good use of color and texture; unfortunately TLG doesn't offer enough different greys and tans to produce a more natural range of earth tones which would improve this type of design. I like the rough textures of the base and I'm glad to see someone brave enough to use the large barrels so prominently. Good job with the minifig posing, although I can't help but think it would be hard to hide a crossbow in a barrel! Good solid build overall.
May 11, 20159 yr Very nice! I like the texturing of the wall and the use of the barrels. The posing is great, too
May 11, 20159 yr Pretty nice work here Rc0nn, the landscaping is fairly well done! A tip on the photography - it would help if the pictures were straight. A little less distracting that way!

I like the fig posing and wall texturing Thanks for the feedback and the photography tip Kai!
May 12, 20159 yr The wall texturing is nice, but I don't think the blue roof fits that well. Other than that nice work.
May 12, 20159 yr Great idea and a nice build, the texturing is good, I like the blue roof, and the posing is very nice. Have a think about your presentation, the generally very high angles and big skews are quite difficult to see properly.
