robuko Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 (edited) This will be easy, thought the Free Eastern Kaliphlin People's Liberation ArmyAs they rushed round to deal justice to the mummified Leanders next door There was only one with any fight in him But they did not expect the net Or the tridents in their throats or the arrows in their backs And they certainly never suspected treachery by one of their own Edit - flickr is working, better pictures loaded Edited May 12, 2015 by robuko Quote
Kai NRG Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Good work on this build robuko, nice portrayal of the clash of cultures! The vine over the roof is a great touch and I also really like the gold on the wall! Quote
Spader Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Wow! Beautiful detailing, and some nice minifigs. Great entry! Quote
Captain Dee Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Ooh, lovely colors and architecture. This is very unique and full of details. I'm somewhat ignorant when it comes to parts - where did the big pear-shaped dome come from? The posing and action look good and the first two photos are great. Good job overall. Quote
LittleJohn Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Amazing work, robuko! The white house in particular is stunning Quote
MassEditor Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Great work Robuko, you did an excellent job demonstrating the clash of cultures in this entry. Actually, this is like a melting pot of Eastern building styles. The Blue building has a nice traditional Kaliphlin vibe, while the white one is very Indian looking and the gold/red building is perfectly East Asian. The gold roof is particularly exquisite, I would love to see a close of that to appreciate it further. The figs and posing are quite well done too. I think a little more landscaping/work on the path would have helped, but otherwise brilliant entry. You have been hitting some serious homeruns here lately with your builds, and as always I'm very glad to call you a teammate! Quote
Gunman Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Really great work Robuko.... You do an amazing work with those asian-style architecture buildings.. Lots of different colors and variations! Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 I'm somewhat ignorant when it comes to parts - where did the big pear-shaped dome come from? That is from an old "orient adventure" set... 7418 Fine build, the scene/action is fantastic. As for the building, I like the "chinese" part. Quote
Dr.Cogg Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Nice build Robuko , I also had a lot of trouble with Flickr yesterday. Quote
Umbra-Manis Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Incredible work again! The different architecture styles work really well together. Quote
