LittleJohn Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 My entry for WarZone 18. The mummies wanted to get in the eastern guardian tower, but they had no battering ram to break the door down with... So they used the next best thing; a sarcophagus! As the mummies were about to start battering the door in, Aymeri and his men showed up and ambushed them on both sides: More pictures can be seen here: Link C&C welcome Quote
MKJoshA Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Oh. My. Goodness. Amazing use of jumper plates and corner panels! That is absolutely fantastic! Quote
Balbo Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Great work! i really like the base and how you made the tower Quote
deraven Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Love the colors! Completely forgot about that panel technique, and it looks great here! While small in size, the tower is full of excellent details. Lovely! Quote
Kai NRG Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Really nice tower Little John, the use of those L pieces to expand the tower is just ingenious! Very nice irregular base too! Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Absolutely fine build - great tower. Would you give us a hint on how you have built the tower? Quote
LordDan Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Great work LJ. That is one beautiful tower! The plate technique can be seen here, among other places. http://www.classic-castle.com/howto/articles/walloffsets.html Quote
Mike S Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 I really like the architecture and how solid the tower looks! Really nice! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Lovely tower, looks incredibly strong yet still elegant Nice use of the sarcophagus too Quote
Jacob Nion Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 That is a wonderful and solid tower! It took me a minute to realize all parts you used. And I like it when this happens! It's just fun to look at the great shape of your build. Quote
Garmadon Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Fantastic build LJ, the tower looks very solid, yet at the same time the jumper and L pieces, windows, and battlements make for some lovely details! Quote
Captain Dee Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 The tower is simply beautiful. I really like the grey cornerstones and the walls look massive. The arched, recessed windows are excellent and the stubborn door is nice. And of course the posing and irregular base are fine. Good work! Quote
Robin Creations Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Very nice! I love the jumper plate detailing and I think the angle of the tower looks great Quote
