Jacob Nion Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 (edited) At the end of war, there is barely a spot in Kaliphlin that is not infected with Nocturnus' creatures. Even saplings can be a nightmare. At least if they are Nocturnian man-eating were-trees. Edited May 25, 2015 by Jacob Nion Quote
Balbo Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 I love how you made the tree, Jakob. Especially the way you made the eyes and the nose is awesome Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Fine - first were-tree I have ever seen. I will stay away of forests! Quote
LittleJohn Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Interesting idea for the counter! I like the arms Quote
Kai NRG Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Wow, that tree sure put on a few pounds fast. A very clever idea though, that's for sure! Quote
mrcp6d Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 "I am GROOT!" Oh, wait... Hilarious build Jacob, I'm getting a bit of a Scooby Doo vibe from this one that I kind of like. Quote
Garmadon Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Ha, ha, nice counter JN, the angry sapling looks great! Quote
LordDan Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Great tree, I love how the face is formed! However, it is quite disturbing that so much of Kaliphlin is being overrun by Nocturnus. After the Desert King finishes dealing with those who oppose his rule he may have have to start returning Kaliphlin to its rightful state and by cleansing it . After all as the King of Kaliphlin he wouldn't want his his people to have to suffer living in a sandy copy of the darklands ;) Quote
Jacob Nion Posted May 26, 2015 Author Posted May 26, 2015 Thanks everyone very much for commenting! Wow, that tree sure put on a few pounds fast. A very clever idea though, that's for sure! Of course! You feeded him well with your men "I am GROOT!" Oh, wait... Hilarious build Jacob, I'm getting a bit of a Scooby Doo vibe from this one that I kind of like. I think I had something like scooby doo in mind making it. But I didn't thought of it much. The idea for that counter was just there. Great tree, I love how the face is formed! However, it is quite disturbing that so much of Kaliphlin is being overrun by Nocturnus. After the Desert King finishes dealing with those who oppose his rule he may have have to start returning Kaliphlin to its rightful state and by cleansing it . After all as the King of Kaliphlin he wouldn't want his his people to have to suffer living in a sandy copy of the darklands ;) You're right, and I think that's a very interesting aspect of this war. The Desert King unleashes Nocturnian warfare in Kaliphlin and that influences the whole country. I would like to see this aspect as part of the overall story. Also I guess nobody would have thought at the edge of war that Nocturnus would play such a dominant role in this conflict. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 That's one frightening tree Great shaping and I really like his 'arms' Quote
