M.A.N.T.I.S Special Forces log: Myra Dynarski

14 Junali 3815, Yallorn II.

Previous entry

An Octan spy infiltrated one of our compounds in order to steal our precious larvae! Whether this was done in an attempt to demoralise our brave forces, to discover the source of our strength and good looks, or simply because they like the taste is unknown. Enemy spy neutralised, no opportunity for interrogation, larvae recovered. Possible connection to issues encountered by expedition MRV1B04?

They stole it from us! Sneaky little Octanses. Must have the precious!

Loving the idea of combat in a shaft like that. Guess I'd like to see a spoiler of the full MOC as I'm feeling like there's just a little bit we can't see, but that's only because I'm curious and think it's a pretty neat build. Not really necessary. Just a thought. Well done!

I agree- would love to see the whole build, but the piece has a nice sense of action and movement! The grate at the end is a nice choice, and the use of chains is good too.

Thanks, I've added a picture of the whole thing. There's not anything more to it though - there's no detail outside, and there was a few blue plates just sitting outside one of the doorways.

Haha!

Super dynamic build! I'm scratching my head trying to work out how you suspended the figs!

What an incredible action scene! This is absolutely brilliant. The posing of the minifigures is fantastic and creates such a sense of action!

The action in this scene is superb--along with Sal I am trying to see how you posed the figs that way!

I also love the ongoing inclusion of larvae in MANTIS.

Thanks, here's a picture that hopefully shows how the minifigs were posed.

There's just a headlight brick and some plates hidden behind the spy's raised right leg holding him out from the wall a bit, and then Myra is holding her gun fairly high up the handle, so there's a bit sticking out the bottom for the spy to hold.
