TheNextLegoDesinger Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 nice but i think it needs more functions and a stiffer front susp. Nice moc though Quote
Saberwing40k Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Definately better than the A model. But, could you please embed more pictures? We like it whenpeople do that, over just providing a link Quote
Kiwi_Builder Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Nice job, looks like the European racing trucks with body kits. It just looks weird to me because I'm not a fan of how those trucks look, the racing trucks in NZ or even just the European ones without the body kits look much better IMO but great job none the less Quote
MajklSpajkl Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 It really looks mean! I wonder how would it look, if you used the original stickers - IMHO it'd look even better. Good job on parts usage also! I don't think I ever saw such a small leftover from the C model before, and nothing seems forced in order to achieve that. Good job! Quote
Foggy Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Looks good despite those coors, , don'tlike green.... would look good beside 42000 and 8458 b-models ;) Quote
metulskie8 Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Beautifully constructed ... like it very much ... there will be an instruction manual? Quote
MacKaiwer Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 nice but i think it needs more functions and a stiffer front susp. Nice moc though Can you be more specific what functions do you mean? Race truck is something that you drive like hell and that's it;) There is already working engine, openable doors and roof, and the parts used count is magnificent, I think this is the best C-model nowadays;) I like this very much and I am ready and willing to pay for instructions if there will be one ;) Quote
Gabor Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Great alternative model with a very interesting shape! Quote
Foggy Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 nice but i think it needs more functions and a stiffer front susp. Nice moc though Maybe he was thinking at a smoke machine to recreate the black smoke those truck produce while racing :D :D Quote
PhyBuilder Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 I love the huge air intake! Which doubles as an emergency slide for the driver. Quote
metulskie8 Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Excuse me , but I had to rebuild it easy ... thank you for this inspiration. Quote

Richard Dower Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 cheers for the instructions!....i was even more impressed by the lack of spare parts!...amazing you only had a small parts left over. pretty sure those two 1x3 liftarms could be squeezed in there somewhere :-) if you had more parts to use...how would you have made the set?...like if you had two sets of 42039 would you have added more parts or done things differently? metulskie8 Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 And here is the RC version of my replica of the "BEAST" Driven by the RC unit from 8366 and forward LED lights Quote

dokludi Posted August 21, 2022 Author Posted August 21, 2022 Several people indicated that the link to the building guide does not work, so I uploaded it to the Rebrickable site. Link: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-120746/dokludi/lego-technic-42039-c-modell-race-truck-the-beast/#details Quote
