SpacerSteve Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 The geysers are very cool. Cool speeders. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 The geysers are very cool. Cool speeders. What he said. Very good work. Quote
kabel Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Awesome ship design, as always. Maybe the geysirs could have used a pool of hot water to rise from though. Quote
LittleJohn Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Great speeders I like the cracked sand too Quote
Kai NRG Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Great work goatman, both those little vehicles look really nice and so does the landscape! Quote
mccoyed Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Speeder is amazing. One of the coolest I've seen. I just love that industrial SWOT look so much compared to the cleaner, "covered up" stuff I always build. I'm no good at the greebling and creative technic uses! Quote
aeralure Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Nice build! I like pretty much everything, but especially that speeder. Quote
goatman461 Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 Thank you everybody Awesome ship design, as always. Maybe the geysirs could have used a pool of hot water to rise from though. Shamefully, I ended up building the geysers, or at least starting them, before actually looking up pictures of them, so I think I ended up with cartoon versions of geysers instead. The pictures I looked at showed mostly steam coming up (which these rounds do a terrible job at portraying) and I really didn't want to spend an entire night adding every single 1x2 clear plate I owned to something that looked passable. I might attempt these again in the future with reality in mind. Quote
LucasLaughing Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 Cool little speeder, and I really like the uneven ground; it definitely makes it look like the geysers are bursting through. I don't know that I'm a huge fan of the geysers themselves, but I'm not sure I have a better solution either. At the start of my build I did a little experimenting with clear round 2x2 and 4x4 dishes on top of a column of cylinders, but it didn't look right either. Quote
