Puvel Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Here’s a little build for AoM Archery. PUVEL: You heard the stories from the North, it is time I teach you some things. FRED: My old friend, you know I’m not a fighter. I’m a herbalist! PUVEL: We’ve know each other for ages, you’re a man of science. Just think of it a mathematical study of trajectories that might turn out to be valuable one day. Striking a target from above can save you a lot of trouble. by Puvel The Hurn, on Flickr Quote
Captain Dee Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 That's an interesting concept, and the target with bull's eye is clever. I realize you wanted a small scene, but with the tension showing on the bow, I suspect he's going to launch that arrow quite a bit farther out. The bow looks a bit too modern for that era, but overall this is a creative approach to AoM. Quote
Rconn0 Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Nice build, small but still with a good chunk of detail. Quote
LittleJohn Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Very nice little build! The rockwork looks great and I like the patch of flowers Quote
Puvel Posted August 1, 2015 Author Posted August 1, 2015 Thanks guys! The idea started with thinking that flowers would be nice for a target so I’m happy you agree with that :D Quote
Jorrith Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 I love the target, never noticed it resembles a bullseye untill Captain Dee mentioned it. Also nice rockwork! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Definitely a clever target design, and lobbing arrows could definitely be effective Quote
