Bob De Quatre Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 The OS-42 Sentinel is a small Octan Corporation fighter. Very lightweight, it's fast and agile while still heavily armed. Its modular conception allows for easy maintenance an reparation of damaged ones. Quote
Kai NRG Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Looks like one quick moving ship! I really like the use of pink trans 1x1 rounds on the back too! Quote
Commander Turtle Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Ah, the Bob-brand cockpit strikes again! Nice use of those big white curves once again, seems like your favourite piece at the moment. Quote

Blackhawk STX Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Incredible build! I really enjoy seeing your ships! I wanna be just like you when I grow up (in a Lego skill sense, of course... )! Quote
shmails Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Great cockpit design, the combination of windshields works very well. Quote
LittleJohn Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Fantastic ship, Bob! The cockpit and wings are excellent Quote
Jody Meyer Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 I like the use of the large curves, I have a ton of those mt space shuttle set, The cock pit is also awesome. I also like you frame and logo, would you be up to sharing it? Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted August 2, 2015 Author Posted August 2, 2015 Thanks everyone Incredible build! I really enjoy seeing your ships! I wanna be just like you when I grow up (in a Lego skill sense, of course... )! That's probably the only thing worth taking from me! Quote
Aliencat Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Oh man I was just gonna comment how cool that cockpit is, but turns out you used it before, too bad :P Nah I'm kidding man, great cockpit, and some nice greebling going on there. Quote
Commander Turtle Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 I was thinking more how the cockpit is the same parts from the Cockroach, and looking at your Flickr I recognise it from two of your small starfighter entries and a bunch of your older models. It's a signature of yours! This is definitely a variant since the front is inverted, but it's still recognisably from the Bob factory Quote

This is definitely a variant since the front is inverted, but it's still recognisably from the Bob factory Hehe thanks I only used the triple canopy on Frax Meteor Blaster, but that's a canopy assembly that I like a lot... And since I don't have many canopies, I tend to use the same parts. For example, the two canopies for top and bottom are the same parts I used for my weekly build, and one of those part I took from my Whitefang on display... Quote
TenorPenny Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Neat structure and slick colour blocking. Quote
EpsilonEta Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 I really like the techniques you used but I cant help thinking it look more like a modern submarine than a fighter spaceship. Nothing bad intended, just saying. (In the future with super strong transparent materials they might even design fighters like that) Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Gorgeous work Bob! I love how compact it is! Pretty realistic to what a personal starfighter would probably be irl. very innovation and unique! The pink thrusters are a great touch! lovely job! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
mccoyed Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 This is awesome. Reminds me of the ship in Oblivion (movie) with the bubble cockpit and white chassis. I like that it recalls Huey helicopters a bit too. It has a functional feel. Quote

It totally does resemble the ship from oblivion! that's part of the inspiration for my circular drones. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Big Sal Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Those wings! That cockpit! The machinery and guns! The pink thrusters! Quote
Garmadon Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Very nice and compact little ship Bob, the cockpit design is great and the greebling and guns are fantastic as well! Those arches are also super sweet! Quote
goatman461 Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 i think this is the best version of this canopy, it fits in with the size and shape of this ship much better, imho. the guns are great here and great greebling overall Quote
mrcp6d Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 And I missed the fact that there's a clear canopy on the underside the first three times I looked this beauty over.... Gorgeous ship Bob! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Very pretty! The small size, clever shaping, and greebles all come together perfectly Quote
