VictorFrenchFries Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 (edited) Great idea of a thread. Umm...X-MEN! With that new big-fig molds where the head is added separately, I thought we were going to get more big-figs like Colossus, Juggernaut, and Rhino. Edited August 18, 2015 by VictorFrenchFries Quote

dmarvin Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Great idea of a thread. Umm...X-MEN! With that new big-fig molds where the head is added separately, I thought we were going to get more big-figs like Colossus, Juggernaut, and Rhino. Personally not a big fig fan. I truly hope that a Colossus figure would be regular-sized! On the subject of X-Men related figures, my top 5 wishes: 1. Psylocke 2. Cable 3. Bishop 4. Nightcrawler 5. Rogue Would love a Danger Room playset. For non-X-Men wish list: 1. Thanos 2. Adam Warlock 3. Ghost Rider 4. Daredevil 5. Silver Surfer Quote
Ultron Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Yeah, colossus really has no business being a big fig. He'd look ridiculous if we got him like that. The only reason he was like that in the game is because they needed more characters in the game that could use those powers. Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Howard the Duck, please! Yes! Next year is the thirtieth anniversary of the movie, right? Quote
Tom Jurassic Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 An Agents of SHIELD set with Lola and Coulson so we can finally get Agent Coulson to add to our original Avengers collections Quote
legofreak86 Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 (edited) Something from Agent Carter, the café would be cool or maybe the SSR office/Telephone Company or there's countless vehicle chases to choose from. Either way I'd love to see an Agent Carter figure in a set, same with Agent Coulson. I think at some point down the line they HAVE to do a Lola set. The Bus would be cool too but that's not as prominent in the show at the moment so it might not jump out as a candidate to Lego. I desperately hope that in 2017 Lego finally release some Thor (Ragnarok?) film related sets, there is just so much inspiration character and set wise. The palace of Odin, the flying Chariots, Dark Elf ships, the bifrost, the destroyer, Jotunheim. One thing I think would be cool is if Lego in honour of the MCU's 10th year of Marvel films in 2018 goes back to the origins of each key Avenger and makes a set around their first movie. Each set could come with a figure of the character before they were a hero and then a figure of their first hero costume as well as pivotal characters. Each set could be a memorable and pivotal scene for the characters. They could range in size and price: £12.99 Iron Man is Born: includes Tony Stark (business suit), Iron Man (MK1)and two mercenaries. The main build of the set could be some crates and a scaled down Jericho missile with an exploding feature. £19.99 Thor Vs. The Destroyer, could come with Thor (Donald Blake civilian look), Thor (first film full armoured costume) and Jane Foster and the build of the set could be the destroyer (about the size of groot) and maybe something to represent the destruction of the fight like maybe a car (could also double as Jane's for playability). £29.99 Hulk Vs. Abomination: Hulk, Abomination, Bruce Banner, Betty Ross and General Ross, includes helicopter for ross and a chain for hulk to attack abomination with and some NY debris. £59.99 The First Avenger: Includes the chamber and the lab where Steve is transformed into Captain America, the chamber could have a light brick to light up to show the vitaray transformation, also includes Red Skull's Car (slight change from the movie, by adding that element but it's an important part of the overall narrative). Figures include: Steve (before transformation), Captain America (full WW2 look), Red Skull, Peggy Carter and Howard Stark. Each set could contain a special collector's booklet with both a comic strip telling the story of the set and Information about each character's origins(in movies or comics) and each cover could be a stylised Lego version of the film's poster. I think that would sell really well and both commemorate the MCU's success and provide fans with sets from the earlier movies. Edited August 31, 2015 by legofreak86 Quote
thewally42 Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 (edited) I would love to see Ghost Rider made. I think him with his bike could be a cool inexpensive set. And I want Iron Fist and Luke Cage released in other sets. Edited August 21, 2015 by thewally42 Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Yes! Next year is the thirtieth anniversary of the movie, right? Indeed it is, though the original comics character is more than a decade older than that - I believe we passed his 40th anniversary a couple years ago. Fun fact: all of Howard the Duck's feature film appearances so far (all both of them :p ) have come out on the same day, August 1st - Howard the Duck was released on that day in 1986, and Guardians of the Galaxy was released exactly 28 years to the day later, on August 1, 2014. _____________________ I don't know how likely a LEGO minifigure is, given that it would unquestionably necessitate at least one new mold and possibly more, for a character who is mostly obscure and best-known for a less-than-acclaimed movie released about three decades ago, but I seriously would love to see it happen. Quote
TeamStucky Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 1. Agent Carter (and maybe even Edwin Jarvis and their getaway car?) 2. Daredevil 3. Nightcrawler 4. Wasp (perhaps MCU version in the coming years?) 5. Bishop Quote

ultron32 Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 If I may say so: most of these comments are fairly pointless, IMNSHO. A lot of people complain in the rumor threads that wishlists make the threads unreadable and while I agree, I also agree that they deserve their own thread. However, if we're going to do that, we should do it right. I'd recommend going as formal as possible. Giving a detailed outline of what should be in a set, a list of minifigures, and a price, is a lot more interesting to read than "I want [existing minifigure #3]", and it's a lot more potentially helpful than a list of random minifigs (unless you're requesting promofigures). I hope I don't come off too angry and picky, I just worry that wishlists could make this thread unreadable as well. "Sets based on [upcoming movie #5]" aren't annoying either, because it also gives people something to talk about beyond "yeah that's a good idea". I'll add some set lists in a little while but I wanted to make this a separate comment. Quote
adotnamedstud Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 It's unlikely but I would love a set with Spider-Man, Kingpin, Black Cat and Daredevil all comic variations. The set would be Fisk's office and loosely based off of Daredevil Volume 2 (Waid's run) The set would probably feature multiple security measures with stud shooters, gates, etc. and then a safe at the center. In the center a fold out turret for Kingpin would be sweet. Daredevil chases Black Cat before she can steal something from Kingpin. And Spidey would be there for the fact that LEGO wouldn't just give us a set with all these exclusive figures. Quote
