Starwars4J Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 Nice job, I love the way the landing gear looks when it's folded up. Smart use of that cockpit also, you don't see that used too often. Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 Very oce design! It looks aerodynamic- I expect Boeing will try something like that in the future! X-D Quote
Chuck Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 It kinda suffers from Flying Box Syndrome 8-| -Chuck Quote
Siegfried Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 I think this would make a great aircar, but it doesn't really look like a "StarFighter" to me, but I do have different tastes to many. Aside for the fact that the engines look too small for something of that size, for something to be a fighter to me it needs either; 1. Wings so it can maneuver in an atmosphere 2. Thrusters or engines pointing in more directions other than just backwards or... 3. Thrusters or engines that can direct their thrust in some way. (My favourite) With that design your ship has no way of slowing down and even changing direction would be hard. You saw the ship that Starwars4J posted recently; that's what I like. Thrusters need to be as far forward and aft as possible for them to work. Boxyness never has bothered me as in space it doesn't matter, but if yours is a space figher it needs more tweaks to be a convincing one. Other than that I agree with Starwars4J that it is good to see that cockpit being used. Quote
Siegfried Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 EDIT: Hey sinner I read your comment and I liked your tips so I moddified my Star fighter more to your's and my liking! Let it never be said that you can't take advice! :-D Great improvments. *sweet* Quote
