Jody Meyer Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Working hard in the workshop Location: H06 Tags: Building, Civil, Engineering, Land vehicle Working this past week has been brutal, I have been redesigning the new Mech. to be out fited for mining and prospecting but I just haven't gotten that far. I have managed to recruit on of my Octan robots and programed him for welding..nice to think that I do not have to supervise...right?..I mean what can go wrong?... and a short flick to see the welding clicking it will take you to my flicker page and run the movie Sorry for the pictures, flicker was having issues and I wanted to make the dead line. Cheers C & C are always welcome Quote
mediumsnowman Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Cool! The lighting effects for the welding is really neat. Quote
StarHawk3 Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I like the LED used for the welding arc and cool mech bay. One thing I would have changed is put a one sided mini fig face on your sig fig since you don't see his face under the hood anyway. Is this mech based on one of the mechs you designed last week? I should have changed the face up, didn't think it would show so much, at least the judges will know it's truly my guy . Yes this mech is loosely based on the on from last week, just the feet really, I am working on teh upper half for this week coming. Cheers. Quote
Andromedas Gates Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 The judges awarded you 4 points. Quote
Kodan Black Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 It is a nice compact scene. The minifig head thing is something I've had to remember to deal with in the past also. That welding light trick is impressive. I wish the lighting overall in the pics was a bit better though, it is kinda dark. The 2nd pic is my favorite as everything is in focus and you've got it cropped really well. Quote
