David FNJ Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Location: F03, Forring Tags: MANTIS, spying, land vehicle Double D's log 26: The last few weeks were a blur, but all I could remember was diving, some sort of amazing room, and then I remember appearing back at the MANTIS base.... Must have hit my head or something. Anyway, I was sent to F03 on a spying mission. Apparently Octan started some subtle operations on E01, so I was to see if I could gather any clues from Octan. I was to hack into their speeder computer systems so that we could get inside one of the Octan buildings with the security code. It took a long time to set up a signal that could capture the signals what the Octan speeders were sending. I had to get very close to the zooming speeders to catch a glimpse of a signal and then after a dozen or more speeder scans, I could piece together the signals into one code block that would open up gates and doors to Octan buildings. I liked their speeders...a lot....but I didn't let myself get too distracted from the mission. It only took 5 hours to copy the signal. Sure, I normally get things like this done in an hour, but those speeders......so sleek.... so.... fast! I need one. ~DD out Quote
