Captain Green Hair Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Hi guys, This year I made a Holiday Express train under the Christmas tree. I think it would be nice if Lego made a new Holiday train set (like the 10173-1) to go with the winter buildings and bring back 9 volt for that matter. This is the first time I enter this contest, I hope you like it. Happy Holidays! Train approaching: The engine is operated by elfs: The passenger wagon with some passengers driving home for ''Christmas'': Some detail on the passenger wagon: A little freight car with trees, nothing too special: The Holiday Caboose: And lastly, some detail on the holiday caboose: Thank you for looking! Best regards, Rick Quote
ObadiahPoundage Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Great little train. I wish Lego would consider a train for one of the future Winter Village sets Quote
Kristel Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Nice! Looks like a great fit with the Winter Village theme. Quote
Boromir Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 What a lovely train! The color scheme is spot on, and i really like the christmas lighting. This makes me wish TLG releases a train for the WV series. Quote
mediumsnowman Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 (edited) Great job! I really like the tree car, it's simple but effective. I do wonder about the Great West sign though... Edited December 27, 2015 by mediumsnowman Quote
KlodsBrik Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 This is such a nice train. All the different wagons are great, fit the winter village and looks awesome. A really great entry. Love what you have accomplished here. Quote
Redhead1982 Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Nice train. It reminds me a bit of the TLG's version from years back, and I wouldn't mind a train to be re-released. The cars are nicely detailed, specially the red one as it looks it has a face on. Great entry. Quote
Gunman Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Such a great train... Amazing details and decorations on the wagons! Quote
JoelTheLegoManiac Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 It looks amazing, reminds me of that one 9v Christmas train LEGO made a while ago. Quote
