Tomsche Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Impressive oven, and a very nice workshop Quote
TitusV Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 that... That's just gorgeous! I really like the oven, and the glass, and the walls - can I try that wall-technique too? I approve Quote
Sir Stig Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Nice. Very clean build. I like the color scheme, the half stone wall, oven and smoke. Quote
Kai NRG Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Very nice build, really like how clean it is! The chimney is neat and I like the hints of dark red! Next time though, you might want to try to avoid the green stripe at the bottom of the border; it looks a little out of place. Nonetheless, you have my ! Quote
Darkdragon Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 I love how full of life you've made this little build. I can almost hear the glass and feel the heat from the flames. Quote
Bart Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Very well designed and build! It really looks like a glass blowing workshop. The scenery is good too. How did you make the fire? Quote
KlodsBrik Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Great build and a great idea as well. Blowing glass ust have been a nessecity in those days. No bottles no rum i guess. Lovely MOC ! Quote
-Noel- Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Very nice! I recognized what it is pretty quickly. Quote
blackdeathgr Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 I also vote for this! Man all the different kinds of occupations around here! I always believed that whoever uses LEGO has tons of imagination :) Quote
Vedauwoo Posted January 15, 2016 Author Posted January 15, 2016 Thanks everyone! ....can I try that wall-technique too? Please do! How did you make the fire? Here's some details: The "fire" is 8 of 6126b and 4 of 64647 on the walls: Furnace flames #2 on Flickr Furnace flames #1 on Flickr To Illuminate I strapped a clip on this to hold the button down....lol: Furnace illumination technique.... on Flickr Quote
Elostirion Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Nice and lovely idea, flawless execution and that oven definitely stands out the most! Quote
Garmadon Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Excellent build Ved, the clean aspect is very welcoming, and the oven and guy glass-blowing are great as well! from me! Quote
Bregir Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Really nice build - I have wanted to try my self at a glass blowing build, bu never got around to it! You have really executed it well! I approve! Quote
Captain Dee Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 (edited) This may well be my favorite free build in BoBS yet and I like the choice of white for the walls. The design is neat and tidy and the subject matter is unique. The furnace looks appropriate for glass-working with the bulging rounded parts and the depiction of the actual glass-blowing is nice. The shelves of shiny new bottles is a good way to detail the side of the build and it has a certain cheery feel to it all. Lastly, it's a fine companion to your next scene, which I just sampled... uh, visited. Good work and I approve! Edit: Oops, I missed the spoiler pic. No big surprise but a good technique nonetheless. You're putting very good effort into these. Keep it up. Edited January 17, 2016 by Captain Dee Quote
MKJoshA Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Well I am a Sea Rat, but I love that oven! Great job! Quote

SilentWolf Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 (edited) I saw your sugar cane still prior to this one, and I liked it. This one, however, is better and even more refined. The varying techniques used in the oven and the overall concept is amazing. I am enjoying looking at the details. +1 from Corrington Edited January 17, 2016 by SilentWolf Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 What a nice story and well executed MOC to go with it. I wonder what happens next..... Quote
