Blufiji Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 First, the air goes chill..and a low swirling frozen mist covers the ground around you. The grass and the trees freeze, cracking and groaning as the ice spreads..and suddenly icy tentacles reach out and try to draw the life from you....you run but to no avail..the blood in your body freezes and you succumb to the Doom of The Beyond. There is an incorporeal, intelligent, ice elemental raging through the Rakath mountains. It appears as a raging avalanche, only to disappear as quickly, leaving denizens and buildings frozen for all time..... My small contribution to the Algus Saga. As always thanks for looking! Quote
Graham Gidman Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 I love the use of ice cream. Well done! Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 That's a brilliant idea! And great execution! Quote
Jacob Nion Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Your entry is both very creative and perfectly executed. I'm amazed how well the trans plates work as fog here, especially how it's crawling on ghe ground. The white ice cream adds something like tentacles to it. Nothing physical, but it gives the mist something that looks like it would grab for you. And cheers to the use of that nexo monsteer. It seems that we Nocturnians are the only ones who can find use in that series. Quote
LittleJohn Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Great rockwork, and I really like the little tree Quote
The Steward Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Absolutely amazing! The fog is beautiful!! Quote

I thought about discussing that in the guild thread, to clarify how to classify these new inhabitants. Quote

I thought about discussing that in the guild thread, to clarify how to classify these new inhabitants. Thats definately worth a discussion. I wouldnt call them goblins, I would give them their own people/culture. I think it might be worth it to classify all the inhabitants of the Darklands, from humans to these guys. When you think about it, Most of our members represent a leader in each species culture. Nice story and i like the rockwork. Lovely bit of landscaping, I like the rugged look too it And that elemental is rather creepy Thank you both! Great motion scene mate. Looking forward to picking up a few of these red guys myself ! The lego store has a special on them. Spend 10 and get it free. Go get em! Quote
