Angeli Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 (edited) On the distant seas winter comes unannounced, and stays for a long time. It is no wonder that some of the castles look like they have been frozen in an instance This is "all-trans clear-all-original-Lego" moc :) It is a nightmare to move :) if a tree breaks, when you rebuild it, it is never the same :) My favorite details: the swan, the frozen waterfall, the tree, the flying bird You can see more pictures here You can see pictures during construction here Waterdeep Lith My'athar Menzoberranzan Ched Nasad Ust Natha Chaulssin Eryndlyn Maerimydra Twisted Tower of Ashaba Ruined temple of Shar Rilauven outpost Llurth Dreir Mirage Dragon Song of Fire and Ice Elesee Luna Leliana Lena Netheril Baldur's Gate Suldanessellar And everything is nicely indexed in the topic Drow , featuring hundreds of minifigs in one place. Garmadon Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Awesome build Angeli, loving the bluish tint in those first few pics! Great job with such limited piece variation! Quote
Simon_S Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Welcome back, Angeli :-). We missed you and it's so great to see you here again. This build is very impressive! It's crazy what you have done with such a small part selection. Your photography is also top-notch. It inspires me to try something similar... I have bought a lot of trans clear bricks recently and thought many times about building a MOC just with these, but still haven't done it. For advice I can say that it totally lacks in colours . No, seriously, there's no way to execute that brilliant idea better. Well done! Greetings, Simon Quote
Blufiji Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 You have a talent for structure and grandeur that's for sure. Did you use 1x1 studs to help with the tower technique? is that what I am seeing? Quote
TitusV Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 The lighting is great, as is the build. Clngrats! Quote
Angeli Posted February 2, 2016 Author Posted February 2, 2016 thank you, guys :) regarding round tower, I used simple tehnique of 1x2 brick and three 1x1 round plates (to mimic 1x1 round brick, as I didn't had any:) Quote
Mike S Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Great to see you finally back here on EB! Awesome build as usual! Quote
Gideon Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Very nice shapes with that limited parts selection Great to see you and the Drow back in GoH! Quote
neonic Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Great build Very 'weird' (in a good way ) I mean a build with trans clear bricks. Looks great. It gives a bit mysterious/spooky look. Maybe you can play with some color changing lights? Quote
The Steward Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Absolutely amazing! And all transparent!! Quote
Graham Gidman Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Yeah....that's pretty impressive! Great job! Quote
