My entry for Challenge 1B Land Ho!

So this is the island where our scouts found people. Sounds like this is your chance to study a new culture, Puvel. We’ll provide you with some help if you scout the island and keep us up to date on your findings.

We see four different elements here, all executed in a great way in their own (good rock techniques, especially on the one in the water; nice vegetation; great water especially with the green parts; the ascending beach is even my favourite). However all those elements fit together so perfectly that it gives a well rounded and beautifully looking entry to that challenge.

In other words: Just great!

Great job! I especially like your combination of greens in the vegetation. I don't think I've ever seen green, bright green, lime green and olive green all combined together before - it works really well! Good water technique as well.

Couldn't comment better! I also love the redcoat minifig soldier with the black tricorn and the knapsack, its officer and that half naked sailor

I love that rocky outcropping with all its angles, the way it breaks the waves, and the vegetation! The beach and posing is nice too. Well done! pirate_blush.gif

Nice rocks and plants! I so want some of those palm tree trunks!!

Thanks Vedauwoo! You should get some, they’re fun to play with, lots of bending potential!

Very nice build! I like the water especially.

Thanks Graham! Took a while to add all those 1x1s but I knew the result would be worth it :)

Looks beautiful, monkey is also there = great entry!

Thanks Captain! I agree, monkeys always make things better!

Great rockwork! I also like the vegetation, and the overall feeling of the build

Thanks Titus! Was fun to build the rocks, hadn’t done that in a while.

Nice work! Lovely water and rocks!

Thanks Alfadas!

Thanks Ayrlego! Had a couple of plates in different colours so tried them out and it worked well indeed

Awesome build! Especially like the green accents added to the water!

Thanks Mike!

Excellent build Puvel, you are quickly developing a style of your own, and it is really a great one! pirate_satisfied.gif Lovely textures all over here, from the superb rock-work to the water, sandy beach, and the trees and vegetation! Your builds here really show the power of elevation changes to really raise an MoC to the next level!

This is a lovely composition all the way around. :pir-wub: The rocks, plants, beach, water and minifigs all look great and the scene is very nicely balanced. Excellent work. :classic:

Thanks Captain! Glad you like it!

Interesting. I was going to say that I liked the laurels particularly.

Thanks Max! It’s ok to like different parts pir_laugh2.gif

Very nice build, the rock work is really good and I love the dots of green in the water!

Thanks Kai! Tried to get a bit variety in there, hope I balanced it right
