I voted for LuxorV's. The kitchen scene is probably my second favourite scene besides the first appearance of the T-Rex. The raptor looks cool, and the kitchen looks exactly like it does on film.

I would have voted for Eccohawk, but since it was a display stand I guessed it was built before the start of the contest which is why I ruled it out. It kinda dwarfed the other ones too. :-P Sorry Eccohawk. I ultimately went for UB's entry.

What can I say, that entry was just too funny, especially in the movie! :-D

Well first of all, I apoligise to Corpreal363 for being part of ruining his lifes dream. After UB stole my idea ( ;-) ) I couldn't think of anything that wasn't exceedingly lame that I could build in under a day. The ultimate problem for me with this contest was that I needed to build something that I wasn't going to keep for long and I don't like putting much work in MOCs like that. :-| Hopefully Corpreal363 can find a new dream to make the rest of his life worthwhile. Please don't choose the 'ole "Revenge on Sinner" though as the queue is quite long already. :'-(

Excuses aside;

UniqueBuilder Since he stole my idea he gets a boo from me! The one good entry that I could have built fast and he thinks of it first. (By about a week too! :-P )

LuxorV Smart entry and so much work has been put in it. Extra points for the night vision! :-P

Eccohawk This is the best entry by a long shot. So much so that I don't think it should be in this contest. I have seen pictures of this before and it is spectacular. *wub*

Cap'n SlyOwl Cool custom dino! However you lose points from me for insulting Johnny Thunder and the use of a couple of Mini-Fig hands. :-X Remove those and i'd like it better. :-P

Sam Grant WAS his original name, before it got changed to Johnny Thunder. The fig I used is the original, from the Desert and Jungle themes. As for the hands - problem? They're Lego pieces, right? ;-)

Hmm...Eccohawk...I guess I just can't compete against the proffesionals... :-(

As for the hands - problem? They're Lego pieces, right? ;-)

Well that was more of a joke, but I actually don't consider them Lego pieces. This is because;

1. Lego don't sell them separately
   
2. If you remove hands too much they don't stay in anymore.
   
3. They just look like hands to me....

My entry was built before the contest, for a different one and so doesn't really fit - I entered it to beef up the numbers. ;-)

Second I would have voted LuxorV because I like his very detailed kitchen!

The dino made by cap'n slyowl is also great too, an ingenious design!

Eccohawk's is too much a mix of book and movie to me, and is not well centered on anything. Yet, it is impressive indeed 8-

Thanks for all the supportive comments everyone! I've been working on my layout now for a long time, and I actually have a lot more to do. The whole layout is being redone for next year's Brickworld in June, and I have a lot of high expectations for it. The other MOCs in the contest were great too! :-) I've been meaning to add an Outhouse scene for a long time, I'm just waiting for parts availability for an idea i have for the roof.

But yeah, for those who thought it was too big and professional, I just want to say that I'm flattered. I work on this in my spare time, and I just really look to add a high degree of accuracy to the items that I build. I sent in a flurry of questions about entering in my full MOC or just putting it in in sections, but I don't remember getting a reply back on it, so I submitted the whole thing. This also saved me from taking a bunch more pictures. ;-)

Anyways, thanks for the votes once again, and if any of you make it to Brickworld in Chicago next year, make sure to say hi.

Hey, Cap'n Sly Owl, where did you get the hat?

The hat...right...it's not actually red at all - it's the standard brown one but it came out slightly wierd after I enchanced the colours to improve the photo (I didn't enchance the other photos in the file, here, so it's less obvious). Unfortunately I'm colour blind so it looks the same to me! :-$ If you really must know, I won Secret Of The Sphinx in a ballet competition...no, I don't dance, my sister went and entered a raffle for it... :-D Then I stole it 'cos she don't like Lego! >:-(

Cap'n SlyOwl - too technicishy (even if technic is very limited there *wacko* ), imo.

There's actually not a single technic piece in it! Complicated, yes, but that's my style for my animals... X-D

Ecco: Supercool!! However, given that it is so huge, and no real central focus, I saw it to be a wee bit unfair to vote for you. But still, a fantastic MOC!
