Some of you may wonder why Phred is a Forager. Well wonder no farther and read on! :pir-laugh:

While some adventurers seek fame, gold, or slaves, Phred was seeking only one thing in these newly discovered islands... mushrooms. Not just any mushroom though, psychedelic mushrooms. These are used by the Oleon priesthood to convene with the gods, who would pay great money for quality psychedelic mushrooms. Normally such an endeavor would reap great influence and doubloons from Oleon priests, unless of course a native tribe did not want outsiders to steal from their own religious experiences.

Just so everyone is aware, there are some agressive natives on some of these islands, and they will fight to keep their shrooms.

Somehow Phred finds a way to find shrooms, even if the rest of his search party were lost.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh...

Now I understand why Phred built a ship, a fort, and a cartographer's office for Corrington, and then joined Oleon! YES! Now it makes perfect sense!:laugh::grin:

Run for it, Phred! Run like the wind! Run like the law is after you! Run like...

Actually, I believe the good Doctor has already diagnosed the problem^. Stop and take a breather, my friend.

Ahem. Well this is an interesting build, and nicely done, but I'm not sure I like the idea of the forum moderator advocating the use of such... stuff.

Okay, time to be serious. Very unique idea, Phred, and good job posing all those minifigs. The shrooms are cool - are they all standard Lego, or custom? Either way it adds some color to the jungle, which looks great apart from the dark grey (a rock layer, perhaps?).

Interesting challenge entry. Keep it up. :classic:

Funny build!

I take this as a hint that some NPC native hostility is planned for the future in BoBS...

A fun build with great facial expressions. Nice foliage, though I might suggest adding some more colors, and I like the dark grey plates. For some reason, the grey plates reminds me of a solidified lava flow, which fits in perfectly with a newly discovered volcanic island.

I wonder if this experience will convince Phred to be content with his daily ration of grogpirate_laugh2.gif.

Thank you all for all of the complements. :classic:

Could those natives be imaginary if he sampled the shrooms? :classic:

That could be a hilarious story line. :pir-laugh:

Phred

That's how I write my name tag at church. :pir-classic:

I do have plans to upgrade the fort. So it may accidentally change sides. :pir-grin:

The dark gray was meant to be dirt.

All of my dark tan plates have been used up... ...as roads in a small town, which would have been my preferred color.

I believe they are from Brickforge

You are correct sir.

So, your next build will be an Oleon Coffee Shop, right? pirate_laugh_new.gif

That's not a bad idea.

It would make logical sense after this build. :pir-grin:

Thank you. You're right. My future jungle scenes will include more color.

Shrooms ey? pir_laugh2.gifpir_laugh2.gif

Ey. :pir-wink:
