Jakorin Swiftsword Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Jakorin's personal castle in his ever growing city of Aargidil. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I hope to build more of Aargidil in the future. Just thought I'd start it off with a bang. Enjoy and thanks for looking! Quote
The Steward Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Very nice!! Though I wish there were more pictures... Quote
TitusV Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 More pictures would indeed be handy... But that one seems really good! Quote
Garmadon Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Very nice tower Jakorin, the Tudor section and roof are great, and the texturing does help relieve the wall (although it still does have a tad of the big grey wall syndrome) Cool figs and cobblestone road too, I'm looking forward to more of your city! Mike S Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 I love it! I actually like the stark contrast between the light bley and the Tudor style top! Quote
Graham Gidman Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Good to see another build from you! I really like the height of the towers and cobblestone. Quote
Blufiji Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Great tower, Avalonian to the fullest. Look forward to more of your city. Quote
Kayne Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Really nice tower here! I agree with Mike, the contrast in the color scheme works very well here. Quote
Umbra-Manis Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Nice tower! I like the contrast between the tall, grey walls, and the shorter tudor section! Quote
Jacob Nion Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 (edited) That's a heavy keep. Beneath all the crooked detailed walls it's nice to see that a well fortified castle with plain walls can still impress. I wouldn't like to be forced laying siege to this one. Edited March 2, 2016 by Jacob Nion Quote
soccerkid6 Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Very pretty castle! I like your use of log bricks at the corners, and the additions between towers look amazing too The tudor sections up top finish it off nicely, along with the nicely detailed cobblestone base Quote
Kai NRG Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Quite a tough looking keep, Jakorin, the tudor section looks great and the walls have enough texture without it being too much. Good work! Quote
LittleJohn Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 Excellent build, Jakorin! The cobblestone, tudor sections and roof are all great Quote
Gideon Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 Nice keep, the stone parts look like a newly built fortification The tudor section looks good, albeit a bit large compared to the lower part but I'm not sure if I like the roofs, maybe the same roofing material should have been used up to the top? Quote
Full Plate Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Nice castle The stone looks great! I'm kinda wondering where the fourth house at the top went. Or perhaps the castle looks different from the back? Well done in any case :) Quote
