Eddie_Young Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 (edited) The all time classic toy of the 20th century and to me the coolest toy right after LEGO now finally in brick form! This is my project for LEGO Ideas. It uses a classic blocky body and cubic head design to make it simple and cute. It is, as you can see, decorated with a control panel on the chest, a face with two scary red eyes and a cool little window on it's back that lets you watch the mechanism at work. And it can really walk!!! Let me know which colour and which design (arms, antennas, etc.) you like more Thank you. If you like it, please support on LEGO Ideas. Actor Builder Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Cool! I've been trying to get a similar MOC I'm working on to be wholly functional for quite a while... Quote
slopemodified Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Nice job! Did you base it off a certain wind up robot when you built it? I didn't know the feet of wind up robots are so flat, is it also prevent it falling over when walking? Quote

And I didn't use the same walking pattern, which means the feet are a bit different and yes, they are so big to help him stay upright. Edited March 8, 2016 by Eddie_Young Quote
Kim72 Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Supported this very cool idea. I like the combination of two types of toys and the fact that it workshop and is 100% LEGO. Quote
Forresto Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 I'm surprised no-one has done this before? Either way this is awesome! Quote
