After receiving some more money from the sponsor of his explorations, Thomas Sauveterre de Acadia has bought a lavish larger and newer house in the center of Breshaun. Once he settles into the much more comfortable house, he plans to make the first of his explorations into New Terra.

Thanks for looking, and I hope you like it. This was meant to be an improvement of my Oleon house, but I ended up making a whole new one. So, as always, comments are always appreciated.

The overall design looks good, but that front elevation view is a really flat way of presenting it. The windows look nice but don't show up clearly. Ever think of rendering these designs? It would improve the overall look quite a bit. This does look like it would make a neat little house if actually built.

Looks okay. It could use some color and pattern variations. For example, try having the window frames in a different color. Maybe add some offset to certain parts of the walls, and more details in general would make a huge difference.

Also, try rendering your creations. It doesn't need much, check this topic on bluerender, a very easy to use rendering tool. Just get java 8 installed, and unzip the bluerender package to any location on your PC, load a .lxf file, and press start. It really is that simple, and it only takes some minutes - tops.

This might be the largest Oleon residence yet. :pir-laugh:

How big is it? If it's at least 32X32 it could be licensed as a medium residence.

Are you able to get more pictures of this house? I feel like there is a lot of great detail we're missing with the current picture.

I like the use of 1X3 tiles for shutters.

The use of red for the roof actually looks pretty good. My next few Le Bellan buildings will likely have red roofs now. I've got plenty of those slopes.

From what we can see, this is looking very stately and spacious, but I will echo that better pictures would improve it a lot. I have no issues with LDD builds, but even basic rendering really improves them alot. And it would be nice to see it in different angles and a few closeups.

I like the pillars at the door, the shutters and the overal look of it. Thomas Sauveterre's sponsor must be quite wealthy man to fund such an investment! Good work - keep it up! pirate_blush.gif
